The name Fendi is strongly associated with Rome. Their flagship store, situated in a palace from the 1700s, is a celebration of Italian textures, hues, and fashion. Every boutique they have, but especially the one in the Eternal City, is a tribute to the country's culture.

The third edition of the Journees Particulieres of LVMH's was open to the public yesterday at Palazzo Fendi, a subsidiary of the company, located close to via dei Condotti, Rome's most famous and established shopping street.

The brand is well-known for its expertise in crafting leather and leather items, and its flagship store in Rome pays homage to its roots by incorporating Carrara marble, a material commonly used in Roman architecture. The design takes advantage of the unique light of the Roman sky, which is further enhanced by the colors of the shop's furniture and windows.

Fendi draws much of its inspiration from the water in Rome, which is displayed in many of the store's details. To further express their appreciation for the city, Fendi has contributed to the restoration of the Trevi Fountain.

The renowned Peekaboo and Baguette purses, crafted in 1997 by Silvia Venturini Fendi and since then produced in various iterations, can be seen on the ground floor of Fendi.

For a duration of 51 years, Karl Lagerfeld has been the creative force behind what are now considered the world's finest furs at Fendi. His sketches have been the source of inspiration, which have been transformed into the drawings, canvases, and paper patterns that we now see.
