From corsets to petticoats to pants to stilettos, feminism and fashion go hand in hand.
Summer=Seasonal Insecurities
We are having a heat wave in Seattle. It is 85 degrees this weekend, and steamy. Hot weather means we (women) start donning our splashy summer outfits. I have drawers full of hot pants, cutoffs, slinky dresses, and jumpers that require me to get half naked to go pee.

If you are a feminist, you are probably very proud of your beliefs and want to display those beliefs wherever and whenever you can. The fight for the equality of women should not be a secret, and what better way to display how you feel and show that women have a voice than to wear your words on your jewelry every day? Bulletin.co is a proud feminist website that sells many feminist products including jewelry. A portion of the proceeds from the sales they make goes to feminist efforts. So telegraph your feminism to the panopticon of the patriarchy: Here are some of our favorite feminist jewelry products.
Morgan E. WestlingPublished 6 years ago in VivaStruggles of a Chronic Dieter: Shopping Edition
I hate shopping for clothes. I do not know any woman who does. We may put on a brave face for our friends—lie through our teeth when we say how much we love shopping—but as soon as we are by ourselves in that dressing room, the reality hits. We usually have a pile of clothes that are just the same pieces in three different sizes. Because even if you know what size you are, you never really do. It changes from store to store and even in the same store, you could be two different sizes depending on what cut of pants and shirt you have picked up.

As a teenage girl, I strive for the greatest outfit with my hair on point and my makeup ready for a runway, but I can’t always do that. Society tells girls that we must dress nicely and it’s become the trend to always have your outfit perfect and ready for a photoshoot for your Instagram page. Not only is this stressful for teenage girls but it also plays a big part for women in politics.

Prior to yesterday, I had never bought VOGUE. Ever. I had been given and gifted it but I'd never actually bought a copy for myself to keep or to gift. This seems now like a strange thing to type out loud because for as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed looking at beautifully photographed and painted editorials of women.

There are many reasons for choosing to wear clip-on earrings. Your body might reject piercings, you might want to be able to remove your jewelry quickly, or you might simply not want to get your ears pierced.

There is a seamstress in my neighbourhood; a lovely lady with zero English, to whom I have entrusted two projects this year in Bangkok.
Betsy CyberpixiePublished 6 years ago in VivaWhy I Love Old Navy
I first went into an Old Navy store when I was fourteen years old and in the eighth grade. I remember it so clearly because it was one of the most enjoyable days ever. My mom took me there and it was a fairly new store. I've been an Old Navy fan ever since. I even worked at Gap, their affiliate store, in high school. Most of my paycheck went back into the store with all the clothes I bought there with my employee discount. My closet currently is about 85% Old Navy apparel. Their pieces are timeless and for all ages. I'm a pretty simple late 30s aged mom; I don't go for fancy and expensive clothing. I have two kids, thus a leftover lower belly and curves. Their clothes, especially bottoms, are very flattering for my body type. My style is trendy comfortable, too. Nothing crazy and confining. With my Old Navy credit card and being a loyal, longtime shopper, I receive major reward certificates online. Their web site frequently has fantastic sales and promotions too. Check out RetailMeNot for online and store coupons and coupon codes. I love when their Stuff a Bag sale comes around too! Their clothes are usually true to size, comfortable, flattering, and come in great prints and colors. In the past several years, I have only returned one item I purchased online. All their items are top quality, wash well, and last for years.
Rain Boots: A Growing Fashion Statement for Ladies
When I say the words rain boots, you may think ladies' fashion trend or splashing in the rain and/or water puddles (just for fun). You would be right if you pondered on any of the above terminology. As rain boots come in many styles, shapes, colors, and sizes, they are commonly worn by women everywhere, unfortunately leaving men wearing sneakers and or flip flops in the rain. This doesn’t exclude certain people from wearing them, but they are more of a social normality for women.
Jason AnschutzPublished 6 years ago in VivaMissey's My La La Leggings Business
I started selling leggings as an affiliate about two months ago for a company called My La La Leggings. I have started making sales, but I would love to generate more customers. These leggings are very soft, warm, and are available in plus sizes, which is very nice since I am plus size. The sizes go all the way up from a size 3 to size 32. There are kids' leggings available for purchase as well. Kid sizes go from small to x-large. The shipping is free only to the U.S.
Missey FinleyPublished 6 years ago in VivaWhy Crocs Need to Leave
As a child, I lived on an alpaca ranch with 24 different alpacas and llamas. At the time, I was a young girl and Hunter rain boots weren't appealing due to their significant lack of fun patterns. So instead of buying myself a decent pair of rain boots, I, or rather my parents, bought me a pair of Crocs. To be specific, they were bright, hot pink and we made sure to get the charms that you stuck to the top of the clogs in shapes ranging from flowers to hearts and everything in between. I became OBSESSED with the Crocs, along with the rest of my classmates. I distinctly remember my grade school squad and I getting matching swamp green Crocs and Shrek charms to go with them, mind you I was young and foolish. So why would someone with such fond memories of the iconic American brand, want to get rid of them? Because my friends, it has gone too far.
Alex KemsleyPublished 6 years ago in VivaI'm a Teen Hearts MODEL!
Hey guys, so here's the deal! I have recently gotten chosen to be an online paid model, BUT of course to be paid I have to promote. Promotion on its own is a huge obstacle for me that I am barely learning to tackle. The point of this though, is not the promotion, more so just the opportunity I am getting to be a model.
