Prolapse
I want to bloom like this flower 🌸Live life without care and enjoy my children each day. That's what I have always wanted and it is what I did do until... one day... searing pain inside my lady parts. I just didn't understand what was happening. I gave birth 12 months ago and developed what I thought were hemorrhoids. As most of you probably know, this is nothing unusual whilst pregnant or even after childbirth. But little did I know.
The Fat Girl Chronicles
Fat. Chubby. Large. Overweight. Obese. Plus size. Sometimes we chose to be fat. Others it is a disorder due to a disease or illness. But others—they used it as a shield and coping with eating stuff made them feel good because let's face it, it really was delicious...

The powder covered her skin that was so brutally damaged, leaving her with a flawless new face that would never rightfully be hers. The layers and layers of mascara weighed down her eyelids, but she kept them wide and open, listening to everyone as they spoke and never showing boredom. The lipstick stained her lips, a pretty color that covered all the bruises on her lips. She looked simple yet normal, elegant yet classy. Weighing her earlobes down with her large hoop earrings—made of pure gold. Oh, how they wished they could be her. She was so pretty and nice, so thoughtful and smart. But that’s the thing, she wasn’t.

The Glass Ceiling is very, very real—and it's one of the biggest reasons why women earn less than men throughout their lifetimes. These days, a low salary can make or break your ability to put food on the table or even have a normal life.
Riley Raul ReesePublished 6 years ago in VivaIt's Not Okay for Men to Behave That Way
Scenario One: A 17 year-old-girl is learning to drive. Her driving instructor takes her to a country road to practise stopping and starting the car. His arm is stretched behind her, slung round the back of her seat. It makes the girl uncomfortable, but she tells herself it's okay. Her instructor asks her to pull up at the side of the road. She's getting bored doing this, and wonders when she's going to start doing some proper driving. Her instructor moves a little closer, then purses his lips and heads towards her cheek as if to kiss her. The girl blushes as she pulls away. "Oh, I didn't think you were shy," says her instructor. The lesson continues.

Okay, I'll admit it, it's not easy. Being known as the 'Fat Girl', being known as the one who does nothing but eat, known as lazy just because of the way you look. It's not cool, nobody wants it, nobody ever asked for it.

As if mother's don't go through enough just to get their child into the world, then they have to deal with the world telling them exactly how they should take care of their new bundle of joy. Being a mother is hard, but it is often made more difficult by other mothers thinking that their word is gospel.

I don’t have a romantic story about the first time I had sex. I have a story that will make you cry and rethink everything I’ve ever done that earned your disapproval.

I remember the first time I came to know about endometriosis. At one time, it was just a big word I could hardly pronounce.

Facebook is something we use to stay connected with one another. Something we use to see the experiences we have and share. Something some rely on to keep occupied in the bathroom. We play games, like photos, share opinions, laugh at the cute and funny dog videos, scroll through current news and happenings around the world, and my personal favourite, look back on our memories.
Amidst the SunsetPublished 6 years ago in VivaSomething I Feel Strongly About
Despite the right sort of movement towards equality & progressive attitudes toward stereotypes and systems that oppress people on a daily basis- it is still hard for a woman to be taken seriously as a player in the world of both work and play! Now my piece today is not tainted in aggressive feminism because that can be just as damaging as patriarchal and Misogynist underpinnings in society. What I am looking at is the idea of women empowering other women.
Amber GoddardPublished 6 years ago in VivaFeeling Confident in Yourself Is Important
The power of confidence. Confidence is a big thing in the society we have today. Not feeling confident in yourself or who you are as a person can make you waste your whole life worrying. Life is short and let me tell you, it's to short to waste worrying on things like that. In today's society, women are put out to be flawless, glowing skin, no acne, big boobs, flat stomach, small waist, thigh gaps, and a nice ass. No normal woman in this entire world has every single one of those things. The women you see out here on the magazines—it's all fake. They are photoshopped into being flawless, made with no mistakes, and it puts out a bad vibe for the women who see these types of things.
