Keiunna Walker - La Tech

Junior guard Keiunna Walker led La Tech to a couple of blowout wins last week. She scored 19 points and had six rebounds with four assists in a 64-49 victory over Florida Atlantic, Feb. 3. Walker followed that with a perfect 9-9 shooting outing against Florida International. She scored 22 points in that contest. She is averaging 17.6 points and has scored at least 11 points in every game that she has played. After an 8-7 start, La Tech has won five of its last six to improve to 13-8.

Maddy Siegrist - Villanova

Forward Maddy Siegrist is now averaging 25.2 points per game, which is a career high for the high scoring junior. She is also shooting career highs of 49.1 percent overall and 34.6 percent from three. Siegrist has scored at least 30 points five times this season. Last week she posted back-to-back 30-point games for the first time of the year. Siegrist hit four of her eight three-point shots and shot 11-18 overall with 30 points in an 82-57 win against Xavier, Jan. 30. On Feb. 4, Siegrist scored 34 points scoring on 15 of her 22 shots against St. John's during an 82-58 victory. She also had a combined 16 rebounds four steals and four blocks in both of those wins. This her second straight week earning National Player of the Week honors.

Anastasia Hayes - Mississippi State

After Rickea Jackson exited the Mississippi State women's basketball program, Anastasia Hayes has had to assume more of the scoring responsibilities and the 5-7 senior guard has not let the Bulldogs down. She posted 22 points shooting a perfect 8-8 from the free-throw line as well as 7-14 from the field, Jan. 30 in a 78-56 win over Texas A&M. She also led the team with seven assists which matched a season high. On Feb. 3, Hayes scored a season high 26 points against Auburn 70-65. In this game she shot 10-11 from the free-throw line and 8-15 overall. Hayes had nine rebounds, four assists and swiped the ball twice from Auburn in this game. Over her the last two seasons Hayes has struggled from the free-throw line shooting 63 percent during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons. This season she is shooting a career best 76 percent from the charity stripe. Hayes is now averaging 18.7 points per game. This is her second National Player of the Week honor this month.

Aneesah Morrow - DePaul

Along with Maddy Siegrist, Morrow is also honored with National Player of the Week honor for a second straight week. Morrow continues her outstanding freshman season with averages of 20.8 points, 13.4 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.9 rebounds per game. A 52.7 percent shooter on the season, Morrow struggled shooting a combined 26-62 last week but she was high productive nonetheless. Morrow scored 22 points with 27 rebounds, one steal and a block in an 85-65 win over Seton Hall, Jan. 30. On Feb. 4 in a 77-68 loss to Creighton, Morrow scored 21 points with 12 rebounds, four steals and two blocks.

Madison Bartley - Belmont

Madison Bartley scored 21 points in her first game this season After that she scored less than 10 points over the next six games. Throughout the season she has survived through individual highs and lows but last week, she preformed very well on both sides of the court. Bartley scored 19 points with eight rebounds, seven blocks, two steals and two assists on 8-10 shooting in a 85-46 win against Tennessee, Feb. 3. On Feb. 5 she scored 12 points with six rebounds and six blocks in a 58-49 win over Tennessee Tech. Bartley is averaging career highs of 11.8 points and 1.8 blocked shots per game.

Isnelle Natabou - Sacramento State

For the second time in three weeks, Isnellle Natabou has earned National Player of the Week honors. The 6-5 center put up mountain sized performances in both of Sacramento State's wins last week. On Feb. 3, Natabou shot 7-8, scoring 16 points while collecting 17 rebounds, two blocks and a steal in a 76-62 win over Northern Arizona. Feb. 5, Natabou scored 23 points with 17 rebounds and three steals in the week's second win which came against Portland State. She also had three steals in the 73-62 victory.
