Alexis Holmes - Kentucky (2020-2022) Penn State (2019)

Alexis Holmes began her career in 2019 as she became an All-American during the indoor season at Penn State. The Track Stars App captured her first ever collegiate 400 meters race and victory at the Simmons-Harvey Big Ten Invitational, hosted by Michigan. She went on to win her next three indoor 400-meter finals including a 52.14 finish at the Big Ten Championships. She was the only freshman in the race and she qualified for the NCAA indoor 400 meters competition. Holmes earned her first All-American honor after placing fourth at the 2019 NCAA Indoor Championships 400 meters final at 52.37.

A native of Hamden, Connecticut, Holmes won the 2019 Big Ten outdoor title in the 400 meters before transferring to Kentucky. As a sophomore she delivered Kentucky a 2020 SEC indoor championship in the 400 meters and a runner-up finish in the 1,600-meter relay with teammates Megan Moss, Abby Steiner and Chloe Abbott.

After the 2020 outdoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Holmes' hopes of a NCAA title was again delayed due to injury during the 2021-22 school year after she competed in just one meet. Holmes trained hard reclaiming her SEC indoor 400 meters gold medal with a finish of 50.77 in 2022. She and her 1,600-meter relay squad collected third place finishes at the SEC Indoor Championships and the NCAA Indoor Championships.

The foursome of Holmes, Steiner, Karimah Davis and Dajour Miles went on to set the NCAA on fire during outdoor season. In Holmes' final collegiate season, she missed out on her 400 meters NCAA title, placing fourth at 50.71 in the championship round. A weeks prior, her 1,600-meter relay squad set an NCAA record of 3:21.93 while winning the SEC championship. They went out with a bang at the NCAA championships taking the gold and making Holmes an NCAA champion with a time of 3:22.55.

Kayla Thompson - Northern Kentucky (2017-2021)

One of the most featured athletes on the Track Stars App, Kayla Thompson left Northern Kentucky as one of the most accomplished competitors in school history. A native of Stow, Ohio, Thompson earned All-Horizon league honors as a freshman recording third place finishes in the 60-meter hurdles and 100-meter hurdles during the 2018 indoor and outdoor seasons respectively.

Over her career, Thompson's bright smile on the track shieled fans from her fights with injury, social injustice and a change of majors, but the student athlete persevered and became a champion as a sophomore in 2019. At the Horizon League Outdoor Championships she won the 100-meter hurdles gold at 14.37, while also placing second in the 400-meter relay at 48.55 and third in the long jump at 5.48 meters.

As the previously mentioned issues started to mount up over her career and a global pandemic took place, Thompson still found success taking back-to-back runner-up finishes in the 60-meter hurdles in 2020 and 2021 at the Horizon League indoor meets before calling it quits at the end of the outdoor season in 2021.

Emma Nwofor - Ohio State (2020-2021) Arkansas State (2019)

After taking 60-meter hurdles and 100-meter hurdles gold in the Sun Belt Conference in 2019 at Arkansas State, Emma Nwofor decided to take her skills to the Big Ten, where she became an All-American.

Just prior to the world shutting down, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Nwofor was having the time of her life as she stole the show at the 2020 Big Ten Indoor meet, which was captured by Track Stars App. She was the most valuable athlete at the meet winning the 60-meters hurdles as well as placing second in the high jump and third in the pentathlon.

A London, United Kingdom, native, Nwofor finished her collegiate career during the 2021 outdoor season. She took silver in the heptathlon and third in the 100-meter hurdles at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships. She competed in the heptathlon at the NCAA Championships where she closed her collegiate career. Over her career she earned All-American honors in the 60-meters, pentathlon and the heptathlon.

At Rutgers, Ash came close to snatching the Big Ten championship in the high jump with a runner-up finish in 2021 during outdoor season at 1.76. In 2022 she scored points for the Scarlet Knights with a top four finish during indoor season and a top eight finish during the outdoor season. Her success in the triple jump continued to grow over the next season as she won a silver medal at 13.02 at the conference outdoor meet in 2021.

Marable put it all together in 2022 after taking another silver in the triple jump (13.08) at the American Athletic Conference indoor meet, she finally became a champion, snatching the gold at 13.12 during the outdoor meet. Marable completed her collegiate career in the triple jump at the NCAA East Preliminary Round, where she previously qualified to compete during the 2019 and 2021 seasons.
