State of the Green Bay Packers Address
From the moment the regular season's schedule was released, one of the number of games I had circled on my mental calendar was the first outing between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions. November 3. Late window. Game of the week territory. I entered this season figuring that the NFC North would be between the Packers and Lions. Literally no one had the Minnesota Vikings starting 5-0. Though many figured that they'd lose back-to-back and fall to third place because, well, that's what the Vikings do.

NFL Week 8 Recap: Hail Mary to the Commanders
Soooo... let's talk about that Hail Mary, eh?! You know, the Washington Commanders are something special this year. On paper, they were supposed to be in the midst of a rebuild. The NFC East was supposed to be the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles battling for the top spot, while the Commanders would be rebuilding and the New York Giants would be glad that they're not the New York Jets. Yet a funny thing happened after they lost their season opener. They won four straight. They were beaten by the Ravens, but they bounced back big time against the lowly Panthers. Even so, it looked Jayden Daniels would be out for this week, but he suited up for this week's battle against the Chicago Bears.

Top Scoring Players on Fantasy Football (Week 7)
We are currently in the heart of Week 8, but let's take a look back at Week 7. Week 7 was quite interesting in Fantasy Football, especially for me. Two of my teams who appeared to be down and out are improving, one of them went from 0-4 to 3-4 and in a playoff position. As I stated before, anything can happen in the world of Fantasy Football, as we continue on into the heart of the Fantasy season. I am impatiently waiting for that moment where one or two of my teams clinches a playoff spot--I do have two teams who are 6-1 right now.

CFL Week 20 Recap: Close to the Finish Line
We are down to the final week of the season, but let's take a look back at Week 20, the penultimate week. Only three games were played in Week 20, the last abbreviated week of the season, but the only one with any relevance was the game between the Toronto Argonauts and the Ottawa Redblacks. No, I'm not just saying that because I'm an Argos fan. It's because the other two games had nothing to play for. The lone Friday game featured the Calgary Stampeders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, two of the three eliminated teams this year. TiCats blasted the Stamps to kick off Week 20. The other game featured the BC Lions and the Montréal Alouettes--two teams who were locked in to their playoff positions. The Lions won, 27-3, to finish at 9-9 this season.

Well, Cleveland, the worst is over? The first meeting this season between the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals began with a bang--an opening kickoff touchdown for the Bengals, and that...well...pretty much did it. This was a gift win for the Bengals, though it was much closer than it should have been. But the main story from the this game was DeShaun Watson. He ended up injured during that game and was out. Instantly, the update was that it was a torn ACL. He's done for the year. Again.

CFL Week 19 Recap: All of the Pieces Fit
Well, it wasn't easy, but the Toronto Argonauts are playoff bound. It's been a rough season full of inconsistent play and drama from one of our QBs, but Week 19, Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend, started with the Boatmen sailing our way to this year's Grey Cup Playoffs. We needed a win or tie to get it done, and the Argos won a close and ugly thriller against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, 14-11. It's crazy.
