10. Colts (8-6)

The Colts have remained a tough team, and it looks like they will make the playoffs. The more the season goes on, the more they look like a team that will make it and belong in the playoffs.

9. Bills (8-6)

The Bills have been a rollercoaster all season. But they are riding high now. The Bills smacked the Cowboys. But can they stay on top? I think they will because the previous offensive coordinator was the weakness of the Bills. I believe in the Bills with this new balanced offensive plan.

8. Chiefs (9-5)

The Chiefs beat the Patriots because, of course, they did. Beating the Patriots didn't prove anything. It was expected. The Chiefs actually put a lot of troubling things on tape. Kelce isn't playing well, and Toney continues testing the limits of how badly he can play without being benched. The Chiefs continue to give themselves a chance to win it all, but the questions about them remain.

7. Browns (9-5)

The Browns are severely underrated. This team has lost so many pieces and kept winning, and I feel like I'm the only one talking about it. This Browns defense is the best in the league. When you play Cleveland, expect to have a bad day offensively. Then you have Super Bowl vet Joe Flacco, who is balling out. People look at Flacco like he's a liability, but that hasn't been true so far. The Browns would probably be the one seed if everyone were healthy. This team is no joke. Beware of the Browns.

6. Dolphins (10-4)

The Dolphins just got a good win over the Jets. The Jets had just beaten a fringe playoff Texans team by a lot. The Jets aren't a great team, but they are a great defense. The Dolphins proved they could still be great even without Hill. The Dolphins defense has been playing great since Ramsey returned. There is a lot to like about this Dolphins team, but until they beat one of the big boys, they have a limited amount of credibility.

5. Eagles (10-4)

The Eagles are still talented. The Eagles are still one of the best teams in the league. But the Eagles are in trouble. They are falling apart. The worst part is it's not even injury. They have their dogs. They just aren't playing well. They have many problems. The defense has been a liability, but I've seen flashes that make me think they can get right. Hurts has been getting it done on the ground and has been pretty average throwing. He has the talent to evolve but has yet to do it all season. The biggest problem is the scheme. The Eagles need an offensive identity. The coach isn't putting his players in the best position, and I don't know if they can correct that this late in the season.

4. Cowboys (10-4)

The Cowboys got embarrassed against the Bills. Once again, the Cowboys give us a reason to believe in them and then immediately punish us for believing in them. The Cowboys are bad in away games but awesome at home, which is why they are still rated so high. The Cowboys are still one of the most talented teams in the league, and they blew out the Eagles, who are right behind them.

3. The Lions (10-4)

The Lions made a statement. That statement was that, hey, some wonky things may have happened with our division rivals, but remember, we are still that team. The Broncos came into Detroit in a game they needed, and the Lions blew their doors off. The Lions are under the radar but don't sleep on the Lions, or you could end up like the Broncos.

2. Ravens (11-3)

The Ravens are the best team in the AFC. They have the same record as the 49ers, but it has yet to look the same. The Ravens have blown out teams, and they have won ugly. All three of their losses were surprising upsets in close games. The Ravens defense is the 2nd best defense in the entire league. The offense is effective but sporadic. It only sometimes looks smooth. It looks difficult but effective most of the time. Still, the Ravens are one of the most consistently excellent teams in the NFL. This could be the year the Ravens go to the Super Bowl.

1. 49ers (11-3)

The 49ers remain at the top of the NFL. The 49ers are one of the scariest teams in the NFL. They have had one bad stretch, and everyone thinks it's because of injury. When the 49ers have been healthy, there has been no evidence that they can be stopped. If you take out the 7-point win over the Rams, the 49ers have won every game by 12 or more when healthy.
