Winners OnlyPublished 2 years ago in UnbalancedA Look Back: The 1st Undisputed Champion (Vengeance 2001)
One of the most legendary and memorable moments in WWE's history happened just 20 years ago: the crowning of the first-ever Undisputed Champion. It was on December 9, 2001 that the then-named World Wrestling Federation held the first Vengeance pay-per-view event, which served as the spotlight for the aftermath of a very heated Survivor Series event. So what led to this momentous event? As "Stone Cold" Steve Austin would say, "Here's the bottom line":
Clyde E. DawkinsPublished 2 years ago in UnbalancedIs MMA going too mainstream?
Back in 1985 in Japan's Shooto organization was started and essentially started as a form of wrestling. As popularity in the sport grew a company named UFC started their own promotion back on November 12, 1993 which was UFC 1. This promotion started as individuals with different fighting styles being matched up against each other and battling it out until a knockout or submission. The Match ups were not always fair and did not always seem to be evenly matched. Match making and other structural house keeping items came later as the promotion gain traction and started to grow. I bring up the promotion growing and want to fast forward to present day. There are SEVERAL different MMA promotions available to fighters and the public in forms of entertainment. Now which one do I chose to follow?

Psicosis’ music begins, he’s walking down the ramp, he’s wearing a leather jacket with an ‘EC F’N W’ t-shirt underneath instead of his usual cape. Beneath the jacket and shirt he is wearing his traditional getup, a full body suit, lucha style, and his lucha mask complete with bull horns and a long flowing brown mane—I’ve never been certain if that was his real hair... His suit is primarily white tonight with orange and black design, black boots.

Week 13 Recap: Lions Win!
They did it! They finally did it! Like most things the Detroit Lions do, it wasn't easy. Week 13 saw the Lions hosting the Minnesota Vikings for the second and last time this season; the first meeting in Minnesota saw the Vikings win via a last second field goal, and also saw Lions head coach Dan Campbell tearfully hype up his team. As for this meeting, the Lions had a big lead, 20-3, but it ended up slipping away, bit by bit, with Justin Jefferson's touchdown giving the Vikings a 27-23 lead with under two minutes left in regulation.

I am a diehard fan of women's wrestling and hockey, and a question I often ask myself is, "Which do I love more?" To this day, I still haven't answered that definitively. That's how much I adore women's wrestling. All I ask for is for women's wrestling to be put in the biggest spotlight possible, because, as I've said for many years now, women are the true stars of wrestling. And as a diehard fan, I will always treasure the evening of December 6, 2004, as that night's edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw saw Trish Stratus and Lita compete in the main event.

Ole Miss 75, Cincinnati 63 We travelled down to Cincinnati (4-4) on Sunday to get an up close look at Ole Miss (8-1) versus the host Bearcats. We wanted to see Shakira Austin, Ole Miss' 6-5 senior center with our own eyes. She didn't have her most dominating offensive day, scoring just eight points, while shooting 3-7, but we saw her value by being a long, agile player with diverse ability.
