There are a total of 30 teams in the NBA, each team can not rotate more than 15 players, which means that only 450 players are eligible to play in the NBA each year, so even a player on the edge of the bench, his own strength is not to be underestimated, injuries are the biggest obstacle to a player's career. There are many players who have to end their careers early because of injuries, but there are also players who persist in returning to the court after major injuries and continue to pursue their dreams. Here we take a look at the inspirational stories of players in the league.

NO1: Dwyane Wade

It is known to all that Wade suffered meniscus injury in college and underwent surgery to remove half of the meniscus. Later, the fans nicknamed Wade as a man who contributed a meniscus. However, this injury did not affect Wade's pursuit of NBA, and he won the title of Flash with his excellent play and won three championships in his career. If Wade hadn't suffered meniscus injuries, he would still be playing in this league, as James and Carmelo Anthony were among the players who entered the league together in 2003. I remember in the championship, wade collapsed in the general picture of champagne in the hands of a fall in the knees, perhaps that time he was trying to say, hey, although the missing part of win but still can't stop my footsteps, wade's career is both defects, is a perfect ending.

NO2: Livingston

As the No. 4 pick in the 2004 draft, Livingston entered the NBA out of high school with his outstanding talent, becoming the first high school point guard in NBA history. However, during a 2007 game against the Bobcats, Livingston's left calf was pinned behind his butt after he missed a layup and fell off. He broke three of the four tendons in his left knee, and both meniscus were crushed, but the artery was not damaged, allowing him to save his leg. At that time, many fans were afraid to see the scene of Livingston's injury. After returning from the injury, Livingston started his wandering career and was repeatedly moved to the Heat, Thunder, Wizards, Bobcats, Bucks and Cavaliers and other teams. After joining the Warriors, Livingston finally found his own value on the court. The steady CIC was an important part of the Warriors' three championships until 2019, when he was cut by the Warriors and his form declined due to age. After suffering a broken leg, Livingston did not give up his NBA dream and eventually won three championships before retiring, which was also a perfect ending.

NO3: Paul George

Like Livingston, Paul George has also suffered from a broken leg. In 2014, George twisted his right leg against the basket while trying to block James Harden at a U.S. national team practice. George's shin was severely bent at 90 angles when he fell to the floor, causing him to miss the entire 14-15 season. He is still a star player in the league. This season, under the condition of Leonard's injury, he led the team in the Western Conference finals and the Phoenix SUNS in 6 games, and finally lost. The double giant lineup of Leonard and Paul George made the Clippers the favorite to win the championship in nearly two seasons. It's a shame that Paul George hasn't won a championship so far, and I don't know if he'll get another one for the rest of his career.

NO4: Derrick Rose

A former Windy City Rose and the league's youngest MVP, Rose was a budding star at the time, perhaps even he didn't realize how many injuries would follow. Rose suffered a torn ACL in the 2011-12 season, After just 10 games in the 2013-14 season, Rose suffered a torn meniscus. The Bulls gave up on the youngest MVP and traded him to the New York Knicks after two major injuries, but the injuries seemed too much for the teenager, and Rose suffered another torn meniscus in the 2017-18 season. This season reimbursement almost broke through Rose's heart, and he once considered to retire and leave the stage he yearned for. However, Rose finally overcame the injury and was reborn after joining the Timberwolves. In the game against the Pistons, Rose scored 50 points, the highest score in the game, and led the team to win. Perhaps no one can understand what Rose is going through. Rose returned to the Knicks this offseason and continues to play the game he loves.

NO5: Jeff Green

He played for 11 teams in 14 years. The Celtics took the forward with the No. 5 pick, and he put up great numbers with the Sonics, becoming Durant's No. 2 player until he was found to have an enlarged aortic valve during a routine exam in 2012 and had to undergo bypass surgery. The risk of ending his NBA career, Green decided to have the high-risk surgery that stopped his heart for 75 minutes in order to keep playing. Green returned to the nba after the successful surgery, but many teams were wary of his heart surgery and were reluctant to offer him a long-term contract extension. Green did not develop into a star player after his return, but he was an important presence off the bench, hitting seven three-pointers and scoring 27 points in the Eastern Conference Finals this season in Tianwangshan. The Nets didn't offer him a satisfactory extension after the season, and the Nuggets eventually lured him away with a two-year, $10 million deal, hoping Green and his heart could hold up and play in the league for a few more years.

Apart from the above five players, there are many such inspirational stories in the NBA. For example, Kobe Bryant suffered a broken finger in the game against the Spurs and forced his finger back to the right position with the help of the team's medical staff to continue playing. For example, Kevin Durant suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon and came back as good as ever.
