Calling all sports news watchers to the discussion table, please... The time has come to question the media leader's objectives and intents. First and foremost, my love for all sports and professional activism is cemented. I'm not exactly positive when this particular sports news outlet was created. But as of now, the sportscasting networks, net worth is billions and still counting I'd presume. How many people's televisions stay on channel 35? How many phones are constantly being fed with First Take outtakes or content from the many programs we sports nuts love and faithfully watch. When I was 17 or so, I would race home from my activity of the day to catch the best plays of the previous day. Seeing the highlights and scores of my favorite players was a favorite pastime, and still is. For some, we have formed a personal relationship with the world of sports.com.

The media continues to quench my thirst for excitement. The ever-growing and expanding interest of pro-athletes in sports have driven its personnel to have many different facets. The different components, analysts, perspectives, and opinions have quadrupled over the years. I can remember when the great Stuart Scott was a force of entertainment with his patented Boo-Yah! Sports news watchers of a certain generation should feel the lane I'm driving in. From then to now we see how everything stems from the messenger. One question is what's the message? This is certainly a topic for another time, this evening as I was looking at ESPN of-course. Apparently, a subject has surfaced about Transgenders and if their participation would be considered fair play or not? I've said this just to say how far we've come, and to show what topics our sports analysts speak on in 2022. By the way, Google just told me Bill Rasmussen founded ESPN on Sept. 7th, 1979. Wow, I Had no idea...

I think back to the 1997 N.B.A. Finals, during that time, the media punished players like, Dennis Rodman. The voices behind the action and play-by-play analytics like Marv Albert and Ahmad Rashad also come to memory. In another aspect of how things greatly progressed, women were not as prevalent as they are today. I for one would like to thank ESPN, for the so many lovely women placed in the spotlight of media sports communication. Apparently, this career field is booming and enticing to beautiful women. Black, White I'd expect A nice looking Hispanic or Oriental of the feminine persuasion very shortly. Another Sports Center spin-off anyone? Does having pristine knowledge of the sporting event matter? What are the qualifications of such a detail? I'm to the conclusion of, not even. Not saying the leading sports broadcasts of today don't do a fine job. I'm just saying. I think I could debate the brakes off Skip, personally speaking. I Have more qualifications and sports knowledge, the question is and would be can I captivate the audience, encage or leave an impression that would make the consumer/fan want to re-engage. A simple but not so simple talent is the ability to skydive in the realm of Media Communication.

Besides ESPN, another voice has been given! Thanks to worldwide net capabilities, YouTube provides the pubic and sports analysts at heart, to bravely voice opinions and debate, with only the knowledge of a camera phone and a couple pod-casting techniques and a conversation can be had with thousands! YouTube is big, big, big when it comes to giving its users the tools to self-express and vocally communicate to the world of knowledge seekers. I can also see how everyday advancements in technology drive the newest sports media consumers. Can anyone else notice the problematic progression or not so, concerning the progression of the Media in sports networks and its major outlets? Just An observation from the loyal, curious consumer.
