Ah yes, money. It's one of the things in life that we chase and are influenced by the most, but at what cost? It's the great divide at the dinner table and taboo talk in some friend groups. we just don't talk about money like were supposed to, but is that affecting how much we accumulate?

"If you don't believe you can earn more, you're less likely to put yourself in better financial positions " - Insider

Money is Only The Middle Man (a tool to access more)

We need to push Mr.Money off the pedestal and back where he belongs, in our control! If you think too highly of money, you're thinking of it as out of reach. Bring it down to be equal as you and as if it's accessible. Money is the key to unlocking new things and experiences and should be enjoyed by everyone. Once we realise that money doesn't control us we can start to have a better outlook.

Good People Can Enjoy It Too

Hard to believe right? Most people like to believe that the rich are evil. By saying that you've just cancelled out your opportunity to become wealthy since if you want more money you're only contradicting yourself, see what I'm saying here?. We need to think of the good things money can bring to us such as: Eliminating financial stress, Travel, Looking after loved ones, A Dream Home, Giving Back, Supporting things that matter and the list could go on forever. Think of the opportunities rather than the bad. It's better to be in your hands than someone else's.

Your Past Experiences, Control Your Feelings Towards Money

Everything we feel can stem from as early as childhood. For example: If your parents were big spenders, that could have been passed down to you or you become the complete opposite because you see the repercussions that action causes. It's a good idea to sit down and ask yourself a few questions about money.

What do I buy first as soon as I get paid?

Do I have an emergency fund?

Any savings?

Good debt or bad debt?

How do I see people with more money than me? Is it a feeling of jealousy or a feeling of how can I get to that position?

Such questions may provoke you to start thinking in different ways about how you perceive and spend those coins. It's different through everyone's eyes and no answer is a wrong answer! But some may be limiting your true earning potential.

It's Okay To Talk About It

Find some close people you're comfortable with and start to slowly bring money into conversations. It doesn't need to be bragging or superficial but you may be able to help each other or even learn something. Discussing situations can feel like a weight off your shoulders.

I know this wasn't the answer of how to make money, but to make more money we firstly need to understand money itself, how we feel about it, how we spend it and our outside influences. We can start by learning about financial literacy. It's astonishing what you can find on the internet these days and how much information is at our fingertips. We can watch a few videos a week for free on youtube, reading books, articles and documentaries to get started. Every piece of info counts but be wary of any scams and take everything as a guide only, as everyone has different personal circumstances.

If you follow and start to produce a good relationship with money you should start to see the changes it will bring to your life. Once we stop that resistance, it may flow to you easier than ever before.
