A Very Merry Marvel Christmas!
Ah Christmas, my favourite time of year. It is impossible to escape the feeling of the most wonderful time of the year. As such a huge part of the world's culture (Christmas has transcended its original purpose), it has became an important part of storytelling. Many television shows put on big events for their Christmas episodes, the annual Doctor Who Christmas episode is one of my personal favourites, but how have comics celebrated Christmas? Specifically, I'm going to look at how Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Hulk have all been involved in their own Christmas stories...

We Finally Know What Happens When Gremlins Cross a Time Zone
They're coming back - the furry faces of Gizmo and co. are officially making a comeback as Hollywood lines up a sequel to Gremlins 2: The New Batch. Released in 1984, the original Gremlins film became a Christmas comedy horror shocker, but left scientists scratching their head about timezones. Now an aborted script for what was once supposed to be Gremlins 3 aims to answer that question. Whether or not the current incarnation of Gremlins 3 will use any of these ideas remains to be seen.

Agent 47 Is Coming to Hulu Thanks to 'John Wick' Creator
If you think about it, there really is no better man than Derek Kolstad to write the pilot script for the newly announced partnership between Fox 21 (Subsidiary of 20th Century Fox) and Hulu to develop a series around the best-selling franchise from IO Interactive, Hitman. Kolstad is the creator and writer of John Wick, John Wick 2 and the upcoming third film set to release in 2019. With his expertise in creating a character like John Wick, it should be child's play to craft a new narrative around the mythos of Agent 47.

Black Widow, Jessica Jones & Peggy Carter: Why the MCU Is for Everyone!
I've seen a lot of posts online criticizing Marvel for their lack of strong female characters in the MCU. Some of this might be deserved due to their not yet being a female-led film released from the studio (I'm well aware that Captain Marvel will be released at some point). While this may be the case, it is certainly safe to say that the MCU has finally introduced some strong female characters. I would like to celebrate these characters by highlighting what they mean to the MCU and its fans.

Why Matt LeBlanc Is the Best Thing to Happen to Top Gear
The announcement of Matt LeBlanc joining the ranks of Top Gear is a headline you would never expect to see - clearly not, as bookmakers William Hill revealed with odds at 500/1, not a single person bet on him being the new host. It didn't quite break the internet, but it did send Twitter into a bit of a melt down; a seemingly strange turn of events like the resurrection of his character Dr. Drake Ramoray on Days of Our Lives. So what about the man behind the motor?
