By the Sea
In the house I listen, cautious. It is winter, and the rain outside our red brick house smacks against the window pane; the seasonal night’s drum solo forever changing tempo. Before me, velvet purple walls like crumpled paper casting tiny shadows, embossed plaster buildings, uneven roads – the make shift city of my daydreams. Parts of it are still under construction, nightmares covered by pictures of me, of her, of him, of someone I can only imagine meeting; but there are gaps. Some have bent under the pressure, and others have fallen – abandoned in the dusty mass of fabric, a lost soldier in amongst all those other memories.

I took the same route to work everyday but never had I seen you before. As I was rushing up 5th Ave, I couldn't help but stop and stare.

For any American kid who grew up in the early 2000s, the name Aly & AJ is sure to ring a bell. The two sisters were a musical duo with their own Disney Channel Original Movie, roles in shows like Phil of the Future, and two full albums, including the iconic Potential Breakup Song. For a good amount of time, they were comparable to other big Disney stars of the time, like Raven Symoné or Hilary Duff. Albums Into the Rush and Insomniatic, respectively released in 2005 and 2007, were major successes for the girls, but by 2008, they were gone. Now, a decade later, Aly & AJ have risen from the dead with their single "Take Me" released in August of 2017. Where were they for ten years, and where are they going now?

When did we stop paying attention to the character of someones heart, and instead place more value on the words they choose…
Roleby ColvinPublished 7 years ago in PoetsMovie Review: 'Saw 3D'
In what was thought to be the final installment of the Saw films all seemed to finally come clear to me about this oddly brilliant horror franchise. The murderous Jigsaw, played by Tobin Bell, is the vengeful Old Testament God and his victims are the sinners being delivered through anguish and deciding whether they will repent and live on or die horribly. Biblical scholars can take issue if they like. It’s a loose metaphor but it fits.

Torn between useless visions, I sought to free my soul from what left me bound in invisible chains - oh, you aimed for unimaginable gain.
Best Racing Games of 2017
Aside from other video games such as fighting and shooting, racing games are pretty much up there on best types of video games. It's true — it's so much more different than any other because you're actually not killing someone! The thrill of driving a race car and managing to get first place while you're neck and neck with your opponents can really make anyone sit at the edge of the couch in nervousness and excitement. It actually gets your blood flowing.
