What Counts as Positive News

Get Free Positive News

If I get my free positive news newspaper started someday, I will start it by finding good news to talk about. A disabled person got a job, overcame their illness, or somehow, anybody did something good for the world, their community, or their family. Conservatives often see the media as a bastion for liberal influence and penetration. Instead of looking for dark, horrible news stories, we seek to enlighten and influence people with hopeful, positive news of people making a difference in their community. Not every country has as much luck or diversity as the United States. We are busy fostering an environment filled with racism, woman-hating, and disabled-people shaming. The world needs an antidote if we expect another four years of the same.

Who knows how 2020 will work out, all I know is putting up with another year of what passes for leadership that we have now. I will not put up with anymore of the toxic stuff that passes for news. I don’t even pick up a normal newspaper at all anymore. I can’t stomach it. I’ll be like, fine one minute, then I see the paper, and I get woozy. I can’t look at the cover. Positive news is everywhere, adopting a dog, taking care of an animal, training a dog, or whatever else you do with that news. Kids getting into a good college, that’s positive news, winners of scholarships, people’s science projects, new technologies that will make our lives better, that’s positive news. Adopting children, that is positive news, or becoming a foster parent who is going to treat their kids properly, that’s more news. Bad people have a bad reputation.

This is something that I’ve learned in the last three years or so. Bad people do repeatedly bad things in order to gain this reputation further. Good news is everywhere. Community service projects, people actively volunteering their time, people trying to be good to each other, people making friends with those different from them. Good news is out there. Modern media coverage of good news does not exist.

Although there are plenty of news stories about how black people get more time than white people for certain criminal activities. Bad, depressing news is out there about how Brock Turner raped an already drunk girl at a party because he thought he had the right to. He only got 90 days in jail but is now a registered sex offender for life. Real life is all too often about how bad people get away with bad things. This can get someone reading a newspaper in a frenzy. Tabloids are everywhere with lies they make up about celebrities that are not necessarily true. Celebrities have to put up with this? Think about it! Not many people speak up when wrongdoing is going on. Not many people protest when they get treated badly. All too often we are drones, pawns in a game. This game is one in which we are being pushed around by the elite. The elite want us to feel helpless, going along with whatever they want including accepting us getting microchipped eventually. I would make microchipping illegal eventually because this is barbaric but it is going on in some countries. We started getting on this path by having our animals microchipped, pretending it makes us have an easier time finding them. Our phones can monitor our children’s whereabouts. We live in a very monitored society. How this stuff can begin to get better, is something most of us average people do not ask ourselves. But how to make the world a better place? This is something we should ask ourselves more about.
