The troubled life of controversial Bradley Obami, 28, known as Trap King Chrome.

Rapper Bradley spoke about his troubled life and being deported from the U.K. at the age of 17. For a robbery, he committed when he was just 13-years-old. He mentioned he got involved with the wrong crowd as a rebellious teenager. He voiced the traumatic experience it had on his family.

When Bradley moved to his home country Kenya, he was alone without a penny to his name. This is his story from rags to near riches and his troubled start to his life.

Determined to win and succeed in life, he started appearing in reality T.V. shows in Kenya called 'Nairobi Diaries.'

It was not till around 2016 his career took off. He told Diaspora magazine that rapping was something he did as a young boy.

Trap now runs a record label and an event booking agency called GTP (get that paper) entertainment. The label has released 1 E.P. so far. His career took off when he opened on stage for artists such as Rick Ross and Mr Eazi. Although when he said that it appeared, he was trying to be modest about

Bradley travelled to the Philippians for a tour, and he spoke about getting into a situation where he thought he would never see the light of day again.

He shared his heart-breaking story of the 'racist abuse' that happened to him there. Diaspora magazine has chosen not to disclose the nature of the racial abuse due to the events extremism.

He mentioned that he would like to clear his name on the blogs. Saying he is a ‘good man’ who has been targeted for his skin colour while travelling.

The time Bradley spent in jail was for defending himself in a fistfight in the Philippines after he was robbed.

The police said to him if he paid them over £2000 British pounds, he would be released the next day. Two weeks later, he had an attempted murder charge against him.

He cried when speaking about thinking he would not see his family again. He was released on bail and was due to appear in court a few weeks later.

He said he had no choice but to escape the country, claiming Philippines courts do not always sentence people using factual evidence and sometimes based on what the police officers say.

Bradley shared he felt let down by his community. “The comments on the blogs were awful. I felt like the whole Black Lives Matter campaign went out the window. As it was mostly from black people."

Bradley mentioned he is going to do a collaboration with an afrobeats artists. Who will he mention who it is once a contract has been written!

His current plans are starting a radio station and building up communities that can really benefit from opportunities. He said: "I want to see more young people fulfilling their potential."

Currently, under his label, he has a few signed artists. GTP has undoubtedly got very talented people on their label. Bradley mentioned as they are now going more mainstream.

One of his most promising up and coming musicians; is Whoismedicate, who has a unique sound that is; soulful and jazzy, although he is a rapper. Bradley has been pushing for radio stations to play his music, where they have positive responses so far.

With a tour booked in India, he is going to do a few shows there. "I am so excited to go there. I have never been to.

The south London rapper has been a positive role model, helping other artists brake into the industry.

During his controversial media appearances, when asked about the interview, British Grime Star Lady Leshurr did with Metro newspaper. He claimed he was not approached for comment, and artists should not be expecting free video shoots.

A lot of time and resources go into making videos. "I was offended when I saw the interview published on such an influential media. "We had a good relationship before, and I offered for her to see the music videos.

The Metro published Trap King Chrome allegedly pushed his girlfriend over a balcony.

Radio Station owner and Radio DJ Oscar Miyanda said: "It can be challenging for an artist to be heard mainstream once allegations are made against them. Especially recently with the cancel culture movement.

Jerome Thomas, 31, Record Label Director, from south London, commented that making it in the industry can be hard.

"It is very easy for the media to paint a musician in a bad way to hinder his career, he added. They do it all the time. They start by making claims of violence, drugs, and abuse - the whole lot."

Trap King Chrome girlfriend Tinu Collins, 25, was interviewed by the Manchester Evening Standard after the alleged assault and said: "He did not push me; I fell."
