Dear Mr. President
For 3 plus years, Mr. President, I truly have wanted to like and admire you. Truly. I have tried, I give you credit for doing good things, but that shit show dumpster fire of a debate tonight was silly. Poor Chris Wallace, imagine how defeated and dejected he had to feel leaving that arena. How could he not? I feel he fully deserves to get hammered on his plane ride home. God Bless him for staying with it and making it through that debacle. You were far worse than our former VP. I did cheer when he told you point blank you are interrupting far more than ole Joey. Us Democrats were giving virtual high fiveseft and right

One of the saddest things that I have been witnessing lately is how low Donald Trump’s supporters are sinking. They have listened to his rhetoric so long that they have become robots who record and play back the Trump sound. There are some who have expressed outrage at recent revelations but the hardcore base is working overtime in attempts to paint him in a better light. Donald Trump is guilty of tax fraud which is a federal crime punishable with jail time. His supporters are pointing out that he does not keep his salary for being the president. Some have said that Biden became rich while working in the government. Neither of these statements have anything to do with the fact that the Donald has broken the law.

Well, my friends to the south of the border, you guys have had your first presidential debate of 2020 between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. I think I can speak for much of the planet when I say that many of us are a tad concerned.

Donald Trump, who has destroyed or impaired so much of what we cherish and deem important in America, took his pickaxe to the First 2020 Presidential debate tonight, interrupting Joe Biden almost every time he spoke. And though Chris Wallace weakly protested this disruption many times, he failed to stop Trump's rampage. Wallace should have cut off Trump's microphone, or requested the audio engineer to do that.

Dear Mr. Trump, It is difficult to write to someone you don't really know, other than through the media. However, I have watched you in the White House over the past four years, and I have a few ideas about what you are about and who you are.
Denise WillisPublished 4 years ago in The SwampThoughts on Trump's Rapidly Increasing Authoritarianism
Some will deny that Trump is not dangerous, but he has firmly established himself as willing to go after political opponents. There are hurdles in his way, but don't doubt for a moment that he wouldn't knock them down if he could.

What makes America unique? Is it our diversity? Is it the constitution? Is it economic opportunity? It is, and always will be the underlying belief that everyone, everywhere, deserves to be FREE from tyranny.

I often say to my students, when we talk about which is the most powerful, predominating medium in our political world, that you shouldn't count older media out. Trump made Twitter his medium, because he had a talent for the short, vehement missive, and it allowed him to communicate directly to his followers, without the intervention of the press (Hitler loved radio and its affordance of direct broadcasts from him for the same reason).

Many of my story ideas stem from real life social issues. Then, I have to figure out a good story to illustrate what I am trying to say. My next book, for instance, involves a serial killer on the loose. The story actually began, however, as an attempt to illustrate the mind of a sociopath. This is because I was getting tired of trying to explain Trump’s behavior to people online.
T.C. RandallPublished 4 years ago in The SwampMr. President, Sir:
I was introduced to the celebrity figure, Donald Trump by none other than my grandmother. My grandmother loved keeping up with Hollywood gossip, celebrity drama, and all the glitz and glam of the movie stars. Of course, in that mix was the high profile couple, Donald & Ivana Trump from New York. I liked to keep up with my grandmother, so I would listen as she gave me the low down on the "lifestyles of the rich and famous" even better than Robin Leach could have. If Mr. Leach was before your time, he was a television celebrity journalist/host who coined the term, "champagne wishes and caviar dreams" and spoke in a thick and highly pronounced British accent.

From the first time I read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, I knew Mark Twain was my kind of guy. He had a sense of humor, refuted the value of politics, appreciated hard work, and knew how to deal with a bad hair day.

No, it isn’t me making this claim. But I’ll give you a few hints as to who did. First, you know of this person. You do. I’m certain. Second, you have strong opinions about this person. You may love or hate this person, but you do not feel indifferent towards him or her.
