MAGA NATION
If you’re anything like me it’s hard to find your place on the political spectrum. Never really identifying or fitting in with either party. Maybe the world of politics never held your interest or attention. Maybe politics is the bane of your existence as it fuels a hate fire deep in Your soul whenever the topic is bought up.
Sarah DickinsonPublished 4 years ago in The SwampHey, Hey, Mr. Postman
Whatever we are becoming, I am entirely down. The progressive nature in me allows for it. Asks for it. Craves for it. I want all parts. I want all the smoke in monumental change. Except for this shit! Donald J. Trump is cutting back on U.S Postal Service funding as a blackmail-haha punny enough- for Democratic votes to be hopefully minimized and obsolete. Majority of voting is taking place through virtual mailing because of Corona. Now I afflict this because it directly affects my community and I. One of the bros just got put on to a very respectable job with the U.S Postal Service. A little hood bumpkin from Bedstuy Projects, statistically acclaimed to gang and gun violence, highly susceptible to teenage pregnancy, and an even higher probability of dropping out of high school; opportunity didn’t just come running if you get my gist. Now, my bro-NYC lingo- for good friend happened to defeat these odds that were pined against him. All thanks to his caring mother, his persistent girlfriend, and his own good old fashioned self ambition. Wanting something better for his time, he applies for a city job. That means commitment, loyalty, steadfast obedience, and structure to the state in which you were born, in hopes of a brighter, better future for yourself. Now, he took that risk, aced the test, and began working full time. Boasting and prideful that he had what most could not fathom, his shit together. Guwop was looking mighty healthy for the big bro especially being that he was the catalyst to all DIY, home quarantine-version, in-style at home, delivery things.
Dear Man in Office
Dear Man-in-Office, Whether or not you know it, you are truly screwing this country over. You recently signed some executive orders in the hopes of stimulating our economy and helping those who are out of work or those having become very stretched thin by the pandemic by giving them money or a deferment to pay bills/taxes. Of course, this all hinges on your being re-elected (there is always a catch with you).
Colleen SweeneyPublished 4 years ago in The SwampWhy Trump Needs To Lead His Country
The world is turning around at the moment. For months. And a lot of countries have been locked, or are still in lockdown, or are partially open. People still need to work from home, groceries are open but mouth or face masks are obligated in shops and groceries.

Let's discuss the floundering Trump empire (Trumpire?), and why not start with this TikTok crap? I will attempt to demonstrate how one of Trump's problems is that he sucks at marketing.

This is a story about a fairy, a fairy whose existence depended solely on others’ believing in her. She’s best known as Tinkerbelle, Peter Pan’s companion and sidekick.
Isabel Valencia ZuñigaPublished 4 years ago in The SwampWhat Is Trump Doing In Trying To Cut Payroll Taxes?
July 23rd, 2020 The news first, and an apology for the photo, it sears me to my soul as well (if the Surgeon General put that picture on tobacco and vaping products, nicotine addiction would nose dive in short order). It was widely reported this morning that after significant resistance from members of his own party, President Donald Trump is dropping the demand for a payroll tax cut to be part of the upcoming corona virus aid bill congressional republicans are working to put together now. To be clear, it was not said that he was dropping the demand altogether but Steven Mnuchin was quoted as saying “it won’t be in the base bill”, when interviewed by CNBC about the payroll tax cut, but he did later say the White House may seek a payroll tax cut in future legislation.
Michael Hanson-MetayerPublished 4 years ago in The SwampDear Mr. Frumpy Pants
Dear Mr. Frump, I watched your response to the pandemic very closely. I watched you ignore the warnings that you were given, lied to the American people, tweeted incessantly about things that don't matter, exiled all of the experts in medicine (i.e., Dr. Fauci, the WHO, and the CDC), and fail to provide answers to the people at a time we need leadership the most.

Paul OranikaPublished 4 years ago in The SwampWhy I Voted for Drumpf and Now Demand Impeachment
“It was the spring of hope; it was the winter of despair”—Dickens, 1859. As I sit watching this joke of a “First Public Hearing In Impeachment Inquiry,” I can't help but recollect that this is “the greater [evil that I voted for], just to see the hell it bring[s]”—No Malice’s vicious 2017 single “So Woke.”
