politics
Politics does not dictate our collective cultural mindset as much as it simply reflects it; We've got to look in the mirror sometimes, and we've got one.
Can Writers Be Political
I was scrolling down the sidebar and the title "Can Writers Be Political" came up somewhere in the stories. Instead of going through it, I wished to put my words on the given topic, as I believed it is one of the most significant topics that need to be discussed. Had I read it, it would have affected my opinion and that is why instead of reading it I am writing on it.

Globalization And Third World Countries
Globalization is an extended and complex phenomenon of the twenty-first century. It is a word that encompasses the entire world into an integrated and interdependent body of different units. The very thesis of the theory is that due to the rapid communication and the pace of economic transformation the world has dramatically changed into a global village. Where in one part of the world an event in society has abrupt and far cry consequences on the other part of the world. In hindsight, a cosmopolitan culture, free-market economy, trade and business, easy transformation of goods and people, global polity, common threats and concerns of humanity, rapid transportation has changed human society. It also has enormous impacts on the culture, economy, and politics of those societies which are politically dependent, educationally deprived, technically less skilled, and economically crippled. They don’t have easy access to modern and advanced technologies. And that’s why despite all the efforts of the developing countries they are maltreated and exploited by the developed states.

Prioritising Cows over Humans: A Sad Affair of an Indian State
On the 5th of May 2021, the Yogi Adityanath government announced that it would set up helpdesks for cows in every district of India's northern state Uttar Pradesh (UP). To many, it came as a shock, given its timing when India (and the state) is going through an unprecedented second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, this news would not be such a surprise for those aware of the BJP's 'Cow Politics'. Last year during the pandemic, another BJP ruled state, Madhya Pradesh, formed a 'Cow Cabinet' for the conservation and welfare of cows, which was the first of its kind.

A Theory on Dictatorships
Dictatorships are one of the oldest style of government in human history up to present day. It is found all over the place and historically more often in specific continents than others. Understandably so. So what does it actually entail? Let us find out.

The Assault on the US Capitol
The assault on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 is one of the scariest and darkest days in American history. Fed by months of scandalous and spurious conspiracy theories about the end result of the 2020 Presidential Election by Donald Trump and his most loyal foot soldiers, thousands of Trump supporters armed with violent intentions, dissent and rage stormed the US Capitol, destroying entrances, windows and doors in an attempt to disrupt a joint session of Democrats and Republicans as they certified the election results of the 2020 election. It was chaired by Vice-President Mike Pence who led the procedure with careful attention to the Constitution. Despite that, Republicans in the joint session who believe in Trump's brainless and dangerous conspiracy theories about the election contested the procedure fruitlessly. Of course, it is legal to contest anything but the reason for it was baseless and a gigantic waste of time and taxpayer money. Instead of committing themselves to the sacred oath of protecting the US Constitution, and the democratic institutions that preserve the unity of the United States of America, they joined Trump in denouncing and threatening the democracy that keeps the United States peaceful and together. This is completely unacceptable and vicious. To understand how this all came about, we have to understand the events that led up to the horrid event on January 6, 2021.

Canada's Wexit Debacle
Canada's extensive landmass is unique. Behind Russia, it is the largest country in the entire world. With it comes exorbitant natural resources which includes natural gas, oil, precious metals, fishing and lumber. The only way to unite the entire Dominion was to build an ambitious transcontinental railroad that was designed to link every province with each other. It would become the backbone of the entire country for decades to come and helped established Canada as a nation and competitive trade partner in the world community.
