Second Round of Stimulus Checks

False hope from a corrupt government

A picture of all of the money the government would rather spend on counting fish

I KNOW for a solid FACT that I am not the only one who is sick and tired to death of hearing about this "second round of stimulus checks". I'm sick of hearing the same stupid updates every 22 minutes. I'm sick of news outlets being biased and placing the blame on everyone else. I'm tired of it all.

Let's be honest. This isn't the fault of the Democrats or the Republicans. It's not Trump's fault. It's not Biden's fault. It's not Pelosi's fault. It's ALL of them. All of them sitting and creating stupid ideas that fit whatever agenda they are aiming for and creating a bill that is supposed be a COVID RELIEF bill. This bill shouldn't do anything but provide relief for families and businesses in need. There should be no agenda in any single part of this bill.

This bill should be the cleanest easiest bill passed. If it's supposed to be a 900 billion dollar bill, that money should exclusively go to people and businesses suffering here in the United States Of America. It should go towards vaccines and hospitals. It should go towards medical bills. Not towards counting how many freakin fish are in a lake. Not towards poultry. Not towards other countries. Save all of that for another bill.

2020 has been one hell of a year to say the least. It was supposed to be the year of "Perfect vision" and I don't know about you, but for me, that is EXACTLY what it has been.

I have had my eyes opened to a whole new world. A world that I didn't want to see but that I needed to see. In my personal life as well as in politics and other places. I have learned with complete confidence that the government does not give a single solitary sh** about any one of us. The government, politicians, etc.. they care about themselves and their own agenda. They are not here to save us. They want us to rely on them but are not giving us any sense of stability. We received one check MONTHS ago and have been shut down for ages. Enough is enough already!

I say screw the stimulus checks. There are way too many businesses and families suffering right now. Let us open up our businesses! Let us go out at our own risk. Let us practice social distancing in public and make the money we need to provide for our own family. It is literally unconstitutional to deny us work and then sit and screw around with a bill that is supposed to provide US, The AMERICAN People the relief most of us so desperately need right now. Besides, masks are supposed to "save us", right?

And what are all of these politicians doing while we sit and wait for crumbs to be thrown in our direction to feed our families and pay our bills? They are dining out without masks on. They are getting their hair done in salons they deem should be closed down. They are traveling to islands and having vacations. They are playing golf. Enjoying their holidays while so many Americans are sitting in lonely dark houses (if they're even lucky enough to still have a roof over their head). Waiting for an update on when they can go back to work or school. Waiting on when they will know if they are going to be evicted for not being able to pay their rent. Wondering when they will be able to pay that late fee on their electricity bill. Acquiring credit card debt trying to pay bills and buy food for their families in a world that doesn't want them to leave their homes.

California Governor Newsom dines at a restaurant without a mask in close proximity to other after stressing the importance of staying home, social distancing, and wearing masks.

Nancy Pelosi getting her hair done in a salon without a mask after declaring all non essential businesses close down (including salons) and stressing the importance of wearing a mask.
Trump enjoys his holiday in Florida while unemployment benefits expire

I think I speak for everyone when I say, I have had enough. I am SICK of the saying, "We are all in this together." Get real. No the f*** we aren't. This saying is posted daily by celebrities sitting in their mansions posting about their free gifts and encouraging us to go and buy these same products they have received for free. It's chanted by politicians who are out playing golf and enjoying fancy dinners in restaurants most of us can't even afford to go to anymore... and if we can, they're closed down or we have to mask in between bites?! But not politicians... apparently, if you're a politician, you are exempt from the rules.

"We are all in this together" *eyeroll*

You're also exempt if you're a celebrity. While restaurants are being forced to shut down because of Covid, these same restaurants have celebrities filming shows outside of them. Why can celebrities shoot TV shows and movies, but we can't go to work? Who declares what business is "essential"? In my opinion, if your job provides for your family, then it damn sure is essential.

Every single person of power in the government or politics needs to get it together. This isn't about the left or the right. This is about the American people. Get it together, Congress. Create a bill that makes sense! Read the damn thing and get it signed. If you can't do that, then let us open up our businesses and get back to work so we can feed our kids and pay our bills without having to rely on a government that is about as reliable as the Titanic was. Quit telling us you're fighting for us when in reality, you're only looking out for yourself and your stupid political parties agenda. You don't care about us. You're not fighting for us. You have all made it perfectly clear that you don't care whether we live or die. Whether we have a roof over our head or food in our kids tummies. You care about your stupid golf games and your stupid hair salons.

Every single politician and person in congress should be fired. They are all nothing but power hungry people filled with nothing but false empty promises. This election season was just like voting for the middle school class president candidate that promises Gatorade in all the school drinking fountains and ice cream cones after lunch every day. I felt like both candidates would say anything people wanted to hear to get elected... and both of them are more concerned about saving face rather than trying to "Save" the American people.
