Racism In The Current Day And Age!

This is such a sensitive subject now days! Honestly it seems as though no one is listening to each other, rather they are just coming at each other. We aren't getting anywhere with all of the riots and all of the fighting and pointing fingers. You would think during these current trying times with all the deaths due to Covid-19 we all would be coming together to help one another out! Why are we so selfish in these days of tragedy? Where does racism start for a human being? How can we concur it and help others to do the same?

We as adults tend to think that people are just raciest. But it actually comes from the home. It comes from where someone grew up and how they were taught. A lot of people grew up in a world of racism, they can't help but to think in that way! In today's world it's totally different then back when racism was at its highest! That's why it's important not to judge the book by its cover because, that person probably has not have the opportunity to grow up in a diverse world. All they may know is their own culture, or they were only around hate from the time of infancy. If that is the case, then that is going to be all they know. People could be uneducated on the amazing beautiful differences of other cultures. Because they were never taught otherwise about different races.

It is our duty to educate people and show them that there is more than hate! That we should be not looking at each other by color but rather we should be looking at one another by our hearts our souls and our personalities. We need to see each other as one human race. There are good and bad people in ALL cultures, because we are imperfect human beings! Those of us are just trying to survive and get through these trying times. We all need to come together no matter what ethnicity we are. We are failing this next generation; we should be focusing on global warming and how to save on energy and keeping the peace with one another so that we are good examples for this up-and-coming generation. It would be amazing to be in the history books as the generation that overcame COVID 19 by coming together helping all. And overcame adversity, to come together to save mankind. It would be a amazing accomplishment for the world.

At the end of the day, we are all wanting the same thing! Health for our friends and family, food on the table to feed our loved ones, a roof over our heads. So, you see we are not that different! We love to laugh create art and play with our families. We cry the same over deceased loved ones. When we are all going at each other, with violence and hate we are not just hurting one particular race, rather we hurt all of mankind! I hope we can all come together and unite as one strong human race and beat this pandemic and uncertain times we find ourselves in.

In order to be better, we have to do better. Yes, we are living in times of uncertainty and yes these are very sad and negative times. But it doesn't have to be! So, lets get up show up and bring some positivity to all! Lets all come up with solutions to help one another with our trials. Let's uplift one another and don't forget it starts at home! We got this!
