Kemi Badenoch: On Northern Ireland Riots.
The Sudanese Man's Actions Led to rioting.

Kemi Badenoch is not the first female leader of the Tories, but she is the first woman of African descent to lead the party. Kemi is married to a white British man and has children. She is firmly on the right of the party, and her policies and stance on many things reflect that. Right-wing politics, at one time, was the happy hunting ground (to use a Native American term) of white males and sometimes females, in the shape of Maggie Thatcher. However, the right in the UK has become more inclusive, it would appear. Regardless of your race, anyone can be right-wing as long as you wrap yourself in the Union flag, espouse British values, are anti-socialist, and are anti-illegal migration.
Besides Ms. Badenoch, you have two prominent South Asian women who are well known for being on the right. Women who tried or thought about being Conservative leaders themselves. One is Priti Patel, who serves in Ms. Badenoch's shadow cabinet, and the other is a former Tory who is now an MP in Reform UK, Suella Braverman. Both women, like Badenoch, are married to British white men, so maybe there's a pattern there, just saying!!
According to the police service of Northern Ireland, the riots were caused by a Sudanese asylum seeker who attempted to behead a local man, Stephen Ogilvie. Ogilvie suffered stab wounds, while the Sudanese man Hadi Alodid has been charged with attempted murder. News of this incident spread rapidly, and anti-immigration riots began. Homes, businesses, vehicles, etc, owned by migrants and immigrants were targeted. Parts of Northern Ireland burned as many foreign and immigrant families were evacuated for their own safety.
Kemi Badenoch has apologised for allowing the man into the UK. It was the Conservatives who allowed the man in. The man was originally in Dublin he crossed the border into Northern Ireland. Under the Brexit deal, Northern Ireland, though part of the UK, still falls under the free movement of people across borders, as is the situation in the European Union. At the time when the Sudanese man crossed the border, the Conservatives were in government, and it was they who agreed this with the European Union as part of the Brexit deal.
Kemi Badenoch, while condemning the riots, has also said the stabbing created understandable public anger. Politicians must address issues like immigration and border security. She said attacks on foreigners, whether they be Poles or Pakistanis or from anywhere else in the world, should be condemned. However, most of the attacks will be on people of colour, one imagines, as a Pole, unless they open their mouth, blend in.
One street of immigrants from all places in the world was burnt out. Many immigrants and migrants say they no longer feel safe. This, on top of the killing of Henry Nowak, who was killed by a rogue Sikh youth, led to riots by Native Brits in Southampton.
Sir Keir Starmer has condemned both the stabbing and the rioting. He said those responsible for attacking homes, businesses, and police officers would face the full weight of the law. That's all well and good Mr. Starmer, but the issue remains of people's concerns about unknowns coming into our country. Nigel Farage, who is well known for making statements on such issues, has surprisingly remained quiet.
Rupert Lowe MP, ex-Reform UK, and now in charge of a party called Restore UK, has encouraged peaceful protest and not acts of violence perpetrated by gangs of masked men. Mr. Lowe, on social media, apparently told anti-immigration protesters not to riot and cause damage, as it's exactly what Sir Keir Starmer is expecting. Rupert Lowe is well known for his views on migration and immigration. Mr. Lowe has a big backer in the US, Elon Musk. Mr. Farage and Mr. Musk famously fell out, hence Musk shifting his support from Reform UK to Lowe's Restore UK.
Of course, that lover of anything Islamic, Tommy Robinson (I jest), had to get his pennyworth in just as he did with the tragic killing of Henry Nowak. Reports allege that Mr. Robinson posted images of the attack and allegedly called on people to protest. Critics of Robinson have said his postings caused the uprisings in Northern Ireland via social media.
However, supporters of Tommy, whose real name is Yaxley-Lennon, have highlighted that he is merely pointing out public concern with such issues as the Ogilvie stabbing and the awful slaying and treatment of Henry Nowak.
