A World in Pain

The world is in pain and how do you fix it? How do we all move forward when so much is still unresolved?

No matter what political side you are on, no matter what religion or ethnicity you are it's 2021 we should be much father along in equality and unity then we actually are. In fact 2020 seems to have torn us all apart even more right now.

When did the freedom of speech get taken away? There are people in this world that if you don't agree with them then you become the enemy. I saw a video on tick-tok the other day where someone said that if you voted for Trump then those who did were hated by this person and that it was personal. Where in the world does that make sense? Whether you voted for Trump or Biden we should all be allowed to have our own opinion and vote for who and what we believe in. How can someone condemn another for having an opinion that differs from theirs? Why beat someone up because they don't believe in what you believe in? Why threaten to kill someone?

Ever since the beginning of 2020 the whole world, but especially the United States have been under attack. The CoVid pandemic, the BLM movement and the Presidential Election are tearing and have torn the world apart.

So what do we do to fix this? Honestly, I have no idea, even if things calm down the world will never be the same. The election of 2020 has divided us and there may be no coming back from that. Or maybe we can, but like everything we will have to wait and see. There will be no fast fix when the trust for others in so many Americans have been destroyed. We all know when you lose the trust of someone it take two or three times more time to win it back and sometimes you will never win trust back from someone.

I believe you have 3 different kind of people when it comes to the world. You have the hardcore believers, those who care but accept reality and lastly ones who don't care and like to cause chaos and mayhem. So, what do I mean why 3 different kind of people?

Well, the people who are hardcore believers also have 2 types within there category. The first is the ones that can't accept the truth. For example Trump supporters that won't accept that he lost the election. Another example is people who don't believe that racism still exists in this world. This type of person no matter what kind of evidence you supply them will not understand. The second type is the type that gets revenge on those who did not believe the same way you do. So many people now a days say that if you don't believe in what they believe in then you are dead to them. A lot of times it turns into violence against another, even strangers. It's not very logical, but hardcore believers don't always think logical. They also don't care what others believe in and don't have any interest in hearing other's opinions. Their mind is made up and there is no changing it.

The second type of people in this world are the ones who care, but accept the reality. A example is Trump lost the election and those who voted for him are not happy. They may not be happy and they may not like that Biden won, but they have accepted that this is the new reality. These people may fight it in their own way, but it's not damaging their name or hurting others.

The last type of people in this world is those who like to cause chaos and mayhem. They are the people who for example who go to a BLM protest and start violence. They pretend to march for BLM, but in reality they don't care. They damage property, hurt others and turn the cause into something negative. BLM became known as a protest of violence and death, much like the recent attack on the capitol in Washington D.C. People go to protest peacefully to be heard, but when these people come it turns into destruction and they turn the reason for the protest into something negative. The reason behind the protest no longer matters its all about the violence and peoples opinions get warped.

There are one more type of people that were not on my list, which is the media. Do not get me wrong all media is not bad, but when you have media that feeds false information or just one side of a story you have created a recipe for disaster. The media should provide an unbiased opinion no matter what each other's personal beliefs are. Social Media was a good idea when it first started, but me personally I don't used Social Media anymore because almost everything is negative. All I see anymore is violence and it's not healthy to read all the negativity the pops up. It becomes about the story not the truth anymore and it a problem that needs to be solved quickly.

If you ask my opinion we need to respect that others have different opinions. Do you have to accept that someone believes differently than you? No, but you do need to respect it and them. Since I used the election the most, whoever I voted for I will not condemn someone else for voting the opposite way than I did. I choose to respect that someone believes in something I don't. I might want to know why they believe what they believe and I would explain why I believe the way I do, but I would never force my opinion and beliefs on someone else. It the saying we can agree to disagree and there should be no issue with that. Same with religion, whether I am a believer or not I won't refuse to respect someone because of a difference in beliefs.

It's sad the United States has turned into a nation of non acceptance when you would think that we would be the most accepting. The world needs help and I hope it gets some soon or we may all be in serious danger.

My only hope for the future is that the world heals and 2021 is much better than 2020 for everyone.
