If you look at Matt Damon's history of fame, it's interesting that he rose to fame by being "saved." From the genius math boy saved by the professor, to the "Ryan" rescued in the war, and even two times in space to be rescued... According to rough estimates, rescuing Damon's character in the movie would cost at least $100 billion.

Matt Damon's story begins on this day in 1970, when he was a young boy who was "saved" and became a top Hollywood star. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he is of English, Finnish and German descent. Libra, he grew up romantic and delicate, especially like to watch movies. At the age of 10, she hit it off with her neighbour's eight-year-old brother Ben Affleck, so close that at one point they used a bank account.

The gay friends probably didn't know that they would both become important figures in Hollywood.

Gifted academically, Damon graduated from high school and was admitted to Harvard University. In the same year that she entered school, she appeared in her first movie, Modern Cinderella, starring A-list actress Julia Roberts. It's only one line, but it's a pretty good start for Damon.

Damon, who co-starred with Affleck in "High School" and "Field of Dreams," failed to graduate from Harvard due to his excessive movie-obsessed absents.

After dropping out of school, Damon moved to Los Angeles to concentrate on the script with Affleck. After years of revision and polishing, the script of Good Will Hunting was finally settled.

The two co-wrote and starred in Good Will Hunting. Damon's mathematical-gifted but undisciplined Will and Affleck's Chuck hang out every day. While working as a janitor at MIT, Will stumbled upon a puzzle.

Under the efforts of mathematics professor Rambo and psychology professor Sean, Will gradually walked out of the shadow of life, ushered in a rebirth.

"Good Will Hunting" not only raked in more than $200 million at the box office after its release in 1997, but also won Damon, 27, and Affleck, 25, the best original screenplay award at the 70th Academy Awards. The halo of the world's top awards catapuled the two into the Hollywood A-list.

With outstanding acting and talent to attract the attention of director Spielberg, invited to participate in the "Saving Private Ryan" in the rescue of the soldier Ryan, the performance in the film is not inferior to the best actor Tom Hanks.

After becoming famous, Damon was very strict about the choice of scripts for his films. In 1999 she starred with Affleck in the subversive comedy "The Devil of a Man" and with Jude Lowe in the highly acclaimed "Prelly."

In the 2000s, Damon starred in the inspirational film "Return to Glory" with Will Smith and starred in George Clooney's star-studded "Ocean's Eleven."

In order to broaden the play, Ludamon began to experiment with different roles. His portrayal of cold-blooded killer Jason Bourne in the 2002 blockbuster Jason Bourne is one of the most famous secret agents in movie history, alongside James Bond.

Damon fell out with the studio after starring in the first and third Bourne films, the fourth of which was replaced by Hawkeye Jeremy Raine, who later starred in the Avengers. Lost Damon's "Bourne film" word-of-mouth avalanche, in the market's strong intervention "Bourne 5" he returned again.

In his 30s, Damon has become a Hollywood star, starring in films such as True Grit, Invictus and Ocean's Thirteen. In addition to acting, Damon has provided voice work for the animated films Frozen Planet and Happy Feet Two, as well as the Oscar-winning documentary Inside Job.

Damon has been busy juggling various roles, including Elysium and Downsizing, but he's still willing to try his hand at creative films.

The unassuming Damon has great directorial chops, having worked closely with such greats as Spielberg, Soderberg, the Coen brothers and Eastwood. As he grew older and more mature, he won Nolan's favor, and acted in the universe sci-fi movie "Interstellar."

After his memorable performance as a hidden villain in Interstellar, and his upcoming role as an astronaut waiting for humans to rescue him in The Martian, many viewers said that after all these years, Damon still needs to be saved!

Damon, who is constantly being "saved" in the movies, is nearly perfect in real life. Even those who are successful still keep modest all the time, and often encourage young people: "Failure is the best armor to success."
