Actor Kevin Costner is returning to direct a western called Horizon. It's the first time the director has directed a barrel since 2003's "Heaven and Earth." In addition, he will play the male lead in the film.

"Horizon" is set during the American Civil War and tells the story of the American conquest of the West. The story will follow a group of pioneers who travel across the United States, fleeing war and danger in the hope of finding a better life and habitat. The film will take place over 15 years and is a true Western epic. This is Costner's fourth directorial effort. His first three films, Dances with Wolves, Postman and Heaven and Earth, were almost all Westerns. Among them, The Postman is a science fiction film on the surface, but the story setting and character arrangement of the film are no different from Western films.

In 1990, Kevin Costner made his directing and producing debut with the epic Dances with Wolves, in which he played the lead role of Lieutenant Dunbar. The film shows that Kevin is a big deal. The film was nominated for a total of twelve Academy Awards and won seven. Kevin Costner won the Best Director award for his debut film, but his acting was equally acclaimed. For now, production on Horizon is tentatively set to begin on August 29 in Utah. Foreign media are hoping it will be a film to rival Dances with Wolves

Directed by Kevin Costner, fans will recall his famous Oscar-winning best picture and best director films "Dances with Wolves" and The heart-wrenching love story "The Bodyguard." However, fans could never have imagined that this is the filmmaker who would make lewd moves on a masseuse in a restaurant, thus ensnared him in a scandalous sex scandal.

According to the masseuse, Kevin took his second wife, Christine Baumgarter, to Scotland for their honeymoon in October 2004. At the time, Kevin was staying at the Old Course Hotel, a five-star hotel in St Andrews run by his American businessman friend Herb Kohler. At one point, Kevin shamelessly grabbed the 34-year-old masseuse as she massaged him, removed the towel covering his private parts and exposed himself to her.

The masseuse claims she was also unfairly treated and sexist because, after reporting Kevin's behaviour to the restaurant owner, instead of reprimanding Kevin, he started treating her differently and eventually fired her. "This is an outrageous thing," the masseuse said. "Even if he is a Hollywood movie star, I don't believe he will escape justice. He humiliated me, which I consider a criminal act."

The humiliated masseuse took Kevin and the restaurant to court. Earlier, at an industrial court hearing in Dundee, Scotland, she claimed Kevin, 51, made lewd, indecent gestures while she massaged him. In a recent trial, she was awarded an undisclosed sum in damages from the hotel and, in a heated argument, was upheld by the court, which lifted an earlier ban on the name of the man involved in the case in the UK.

In response to the masseuse's claims, Kevin's spokesman Paul Bloch has previously acknowledged that Kevin is the man in question. However, Paul has tried to distance Kevin from any wrongdoing and has refused to categorically deny the masseuse's allegations. "Unfortunately, Mr. Kevin has become involved in this dispute, which has cast a shadow over what was a wonderful time for him and his wife here."

Golf Hotels declined to comment on the case at Dundee Industrial Court. "Out of respect for our friends' privacy and the dignity of the law, as a company we do not comment on litigation. Otherwise, the parties have settled the matter and their agreements are confidential and confidential." A spokesman for Kevin reiterated a previous statement, adding only, "This case is not about Kevin Costner. It is about a dispute between a restaurant and a former employee."
