"Sex and the City is about the sex and love of four 30-year-old women in Manhattan -- there are many off-map feelings to climb on the vast web of New York. This is a series specifically for women, and it's definitely by women, by women, for women. Blonde Carrie and Samantha, brunette Charlotte and reddish-brown Malanda, all these girls wanted was to be a woman, a full woman. If one of them flies away, the other will feel stuck, the third will be hypersensitive, and the fourth will evaporate. To watch this show is to take a trip inside a woman's brain, and four girls are four modern Eves."

The 'housewife' who values relationships

Parker met her first love, Robert Downey Jr, in 1984 while filming Baby Born. Then they started dating. Robert Downey Jr was struggling with alcohol and cocaine addiction, but Sarah decided to move in with him. They were together for seven years. During those seven years, Sarah worked hard to help Downey get sober and clean. But, perhaps tired, she finally called it off. In an interview, she said, "I found his addiction to be very difficult to deal with." Downey tells Playboy that his addiction has been hard on Sarah, "but there have been times when we've been really happy and normal. I love her and I always will." Later, Sarah had brief relationships with NicolasCage and JohnF.Kennedy Jr.

After a brief romance, Sarah met her current husband, Matthew Broderick. Matthew was a light comedian known for his boyish charm. Sarah once told the LosAngeles Times: "He's the funniest person I've ever met. I'm totally crazy about it."

In 1997, Sarah became a bride for the second time. They married in a simple ceremony in an abandoned synagogue in Manhattan on May 19. Sarah said: 'I wore black on my wedding day and I regret it. But I was also embarrassed to get married in white. Marshall and I don't want any high-profile attention. It was ridiculous, because it was a normal situation for people to pay attention." In 2003, Sarah and Matthew welcomed their first son, James Wilkie Roderick. The name comes half from Matthew's father's name and half from Sarah and Matthew's favorite writer, Wilkie Collins. Parker was with her husband Matthew Broderick at the premiere of the 2005 musical The Producers, letting him have all the light. At the time, Matthew was starring in the hard-to-get new Broadway play, "The Blind Man," and Sarah would come to the theater every week to see him perform. While her workload has not diminished, the task of caring for her son has not, and she has been photographed taking him to and from school herself. Sarah said: 'I couldn't interrupt family life any more. It was hard for him to be so far away from the world he knew. This may sound too traditional, but I have to make sure I have milk and bread at all times."

Despite being a fashion spokesperson, Sarah said that her family is more important to her than fashion and that she would forgo any fashion events for her family. "I don't have time to think about anything else," Sarah told Reuters in an interview at the start of the high-profile New York Fashion Week in 2006. My son starts school this week and I have to take him every day." Shortly before that, Broderick had broken his collarbone when he injured himself riding while on holiday in Ireland. During that time, Parker took good care of him. "It's difficult for my husband to dress the child and take him out to play," she said. It's my best reason not to go to any fashion events."

The movie version of Sex and the City will be released in North America in May. They've been talking about making a Sex and the City movie for years. Only last year was it confirmed that Warner's New Line Cinema would co-produce with HBO. When it comes to getting back on camera, Sarah says it's because of the audience: 'Their passion was a decisive factor.' The four leading ladies are still the same as before, although they are no longer young, but the four friends together, it will be another wonderful performance.

'Columnists' who don't like beauty

Sarah Jessica Parker was born in Ohio in March 1965, the fourth child. Her father, Stephen Parker, was an aspiring writer, and her mother, Barbra Forste, was a teacher. Sarah's parents divorced when she was a toddler. She later married PaulForste, a truck driver, and they had four children. Sarah has a total of seven siblings.

Despite the hardships, her mother sent Sarah and her siblings to study ballet, music, and drama. Later, their mother took them to New York. Sarah and her brother Timothy starred in the Broadway show "TheInnocents," which led them to make their home in New York City. From there, Sarah attended the Manhattan School for Specialized Children. Three years later, she joined her four siblings in the Broadway production of The Sound of Music, playing Annie.

After high school, Sarah continued to seek acting breakthrough, appearing in a number of soap operas. After high school, Sarah decided to pursue a career as an actress, and landed roles in the movies Footloose, Out of School, L.A. Story, Honeymoon in Las Vegas, The Dead Witch, The Lethal Distance, Adelwood, Miami Rhapsody, and the TV mini-series The Death of Dada and The Sunshine Boys. She went on to win acclaim on Broadway in "As Rich as You Can Get," "The Princess and the Pea," and was nominated for a prestigious Tony Award.

Apparently, Sarah's real career began with HBO's Sex and the City, which won her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 2000.

Sex and the City, which ran for six seasons from 1998 to 2006, was a huge hit in Harmanton. This is a story about four single women in Manhattan, New York. Columnist Kelly, lawyer Miranda, public relations manager Samantha and idealist Charlotte are all stylish and successful in their careers. Although they are not young flapper girls, they are confident and attractive mature women. Four people share a strong friendship with each other, but also face a common problem -- in this city full of desire and temptation, where is the true love and destination? Sarah plays Carrie, the show's columnist, who loves fashion, especially shoes. In the show, she wears almost every piece of jewelry and has been invited to be the face of many luxury brands. Since the end of the sixth season of Sex and the City, Sarah has been approached by many top brands, including clothes, perfumes and more. Sarah says she used to get confused with so many invitations. But in private, Sarah is a "messy" person who can dress easily and go out dressed casually, which has led to her being voted the "least sexy celebrity in the world" by a US website.
