From the dark I bring to you this truth:

Be very, very careful speaking with demons.

You must be able to love them for what and who they say they are. As a man loves another man, even a brother. That light of love will shine on them, and they may tell you a truth. They are not obligated. But that truth they speak, you must believe them enough to know. It might not be something you want to hear. It might be terrible. It might be too old for your comfort. But believe them. They have been at this for a very long time.

I encountered one who has twenty-one mouths.

He is not obligated to sort that through for you to hear him. He lives in a void and can come forward. If he speaks through twenty-one mouths, then that is how he speaks. Do not ask the void to become polite. Do not ask the ancient thing to arrange itself for your understanding.

The panther in the jungle is in front of you.

You will feel fear. But then you must love the panther in that moment, because then you know what to do. What is it truly looking for? What is it feeling? What is the movement inside its body? If you can sense that with love, you now know how to behave, and what to do, and what not to do.

This is telepathic strength, and this is not a light notion.

You must understand, meaning you must accept, who or what you are in contact with in truth. Not expectation. Not condition. Not even prayer, if the prayer is a way of avoiding what stands before you. What you are in contact with, you must seek to understand first. Do not say in that moment, “I understand myself better.” That is a reflection of you, and it is a weak shield against a demon.

A demon will then seek, in a way you cannot comprehend because you have not been around as long. It will seek who you know. It will seek who sees the same reflection as you. It will see your past, your present, your future, your weaknesses, your strengths, your expectations. Because you are standing in front of him trying to understand yourself instead of understanding him.

And to a demon, that is fear trying to get the body to move.

Your personal reflection in front of a demon, I swear to you, is like you are trying to get your body to move while it knows the fear in you. Because everyone does that. It is a demon. In this sense, a telepath is a discipline of fear.

Love the demon as respect. You may hear a truth, a voice, a knowing. But then be prepared. It might test you to see your reflection of it. It might look at what you think it is and what you think you are, and it will know the difference before you do.

The demon is perfectly adapted to its environment.

It is beautiful.

Keep your eyes open. Keep your ears up. Shut your mouth. You may catch a glimpse of how it moves. This is telepathic understanding, and I assure you, it is one of the greatest gifts for a telepath: to catch a glimpse of this perfectly adapted being and how it moves.

That is it.

Then catch your breath and leave it at that.

A telepath is only interested in having a glimpse of how such a thing moves. That is everything. Nothing more. You caught a glimpse of something that is perfectly adapted to its environment and has been for a long time. It is beautiful, to say the least. Leave it at that.

Anything more, and it might think you are food.

Because prey inches on leaves, and its ears go up, and it reflects, “I need to get out of here,” and then it runs. That is prey. Are you a higher-consciousness being? If so, you can do this: catch a glimpse of how something so adapted to a world you may have only heard of, imagined, or never even expected to exist, moves inside that world.

And there it is.

Perfectly adapted.

From the dark I bring to you this truth: leave it at that.

Now on the brighter side, I love Meredith.

Meredith has done something similar. She saw unicorns. Beings of nothing but love and laughter. If you see them, you cannot touch them. Do not even try. As a telepath, your only duty to what and who you are is to catch a vision, a sight, a glimpse of how beings like that move together.

You may find yourself smiling. You may even laugh, because you saw how they move. If you observe their movement, you can feel your soul start to move in this heavenly way.

But touching is not telepathic.

Touching the being is not true telepathy. You become a part of them, and trust me, you cannot maintain that. It corrupts inevitably. And then it comes to the truth, sometimes violently: the touch is complete, you are not me, I am not you, and we are both complete to what we each are, separate.

You cannot run with beings of complete love and laughter. You will go mad. And then it will stomp on you like a bug to get you away, so that it can be what it is in purity. Do not forget that what you are looking at is pure in its own sense.

So the telepath can enjoy from discipline, from focus, and sometimes from regret that he is not that. But he can see how they move, how they come together and move apart, even dance.

Do not touch.

It becomes very bad to be caught in the mane of a creature like that as it frantically begins a dance to get you off. In a realm of light, you will not survive that. And then you may never see it again.

Push the tree branch aside.

Look as hard as you can.

Do you see them there, dancing together in light, pure laughter, and love?

See how they move.

You will feel it.

And then turn away.

That completes you both.

The movement of a heavenly creature, you will feel it within you. This is a gift of telepathy. Do not underestimate this. Because with some work, you can look upon someone else and transmit the movement you felt, the movement you saw.

And that person might just say:

“What have you seen?”

And then you can say:

“Let me tell you. From the dark, I bring to you this truth.”
