The biggest problem with live-action Transformers is that they don't build a grand view of the universe like the Marvel Universe. This view of the universe must be based on Cybertron-based mechanical life, not organic life like humans. Transformers Live action is just a human perspective on the whole world of Transformers. As a result, the film has become a propaganda film for the American army, a propaganda film for the American emperor's science and technology, a film of anthropocentrism... It seems that the Transformers are just like a pack of human dogs, and Bumblebee is the closest thing to a dog. Since we all know that G1 has such a wide audience, why not explore the Settings in it, just learn the skin of Transformers, also doomed to be not very successful. As a passer-by fan of Transformers for many years, I have some suggestions :
1. Please make clear the differences between various conflicts, Decepticons and Autobots, Cybertron and Pentahedron, Cybertron and Unicron, and the relationship between them and the earth people.
2. Please make clear the balance between the function and character of various Transformers, intelligence and force. For example, Hercules, robot dinosaur, robot insect, military value is off the scale, can use force to kill a large number of ordinary Kong, but the IQ is seriously low, can only act as the thugs. Bumblebee, the female Autobot has very little firepower, but a lot of intelligence, so you can't let Bumblebee take on Gangbuster. Use his brain. Optimus Prime and Megatron are Transformers with both brawn and intelligence, so they're good to lead a team, and it's not necessary for Pillar and Megatron to crush the enemy all the way, like the robot dinosaur, but rather rely on their brains to overcome them. Pillars can be good at chicken soup leaders, Wei Zong become good at big cake leaders. From Cybertron's point of view, Wei Zong and pillar are not intrinsically good or bad.
3. Generally speaking, Decepticon members should be slightly stronger than Autobots, so the Autobots choose to fight against the Decepticons together with humans. To highlight the alienation between Decepticon members, Wei Zong and Xiao Hong, Decepticon and robot insect... And so on. Including the conscientious Decepticons like Skyfire.
4. Having mentioned the diversity of various contradictions, we should understand the diversity of modes of struggle. The Decepticons (empire, without human rights) and Autobots (democracy, with human rights) are just political differences. They are fighting for control of Cybertron, so many of the battles should not be too bitter, mainly to achieve goals, and neither side wants Cybertron to be destroyed. The Five-faced want to take control of Cybertron and enslave the Transformers, so they should focus on sowing discord, regardless of whether Cybertron is destroyed or not. Unicron wants Cybertron to disappear from the universe, and it should conduct a Jape-like three-light policy against the Autobots and Decepticons, as well as Cybertron.
5. The power of the ancient Transformers is much stronger than that of the later Transformers. Autobot leaders are getting worse with each passing generation. It can be seen from this that Transformers, a mechanical life created by a certain creature, was endowed with extremely high intelligence and technology at the very beginning, how to evolve and develop their own race? That's what the movie needs to talk about, like learning from living organisms (humans).Whether in comics or anime, Ancient Transformers are strong. This shows that Cybertan and the Vajra are full of wisdom and power. The further we go, the less something. So, the Achilles' heel of Transformers is that they can't rise from nothing, from weak to strong, like organic life.
