NYC Pride 2025
Recently I watched the NYC pride parade 🏳️🌈 and it was a day of positivity and a celebration of being gay! There was drag queens and kings and dancing and also Gloria and Emilio Estefans daughter who is an out and loud and proud member of the 🏳️🌈 community Emily performed.

Long Live the adventures of Priscilla queen of the desert
Priscilla Queen of the Desert is a great movie and I movie that I like a lot, it is a story about 3 friends and drag queens who set out across the country and desert of Australia in order to put on one epic drag show ever. The movie was made and put out between 1993 and released in 1994. The day that the trio leave for their incredible journey to perform the ultimate drag show the bus that they take one of them christens their bus with a bottle of champagne and name her meaning the bus Priscilla.

Bobby Trendy
Bobby Trendy is a fabulously gay interior designer to the homes of the stars. He was an interior designer who had designed the home of Anna Nicole Smith and reached fame by being on her reality Tv show. Anna and Bobby became true friends and when she had died Bobby had spoken highly of her. I love his fashion and style which is basically the same thing. Bobby Trendy is truly one of a kind. He’s flash and he’s so out and loud and gay and a symbol of gay pride for being proud to be who you are and not giving a damn about what others think.

Chris Crocker/Cara Cunningham LGBTQ star
Chris Crocker or as he is now known as Cara Cunninghame after embracing his truth to become female is known as the Leave Britney Alone boy but Chris Crocker is more than that what Chris is is an unsung inspiration member of the LGBTQ community I happen to like Chris Crocker now known as Cara Cunningham. There is a documentary done by HBO about Chris called “Me at the Zoo” about the life of Chris Crocker released in 2012 and I am obsessed with the documentary. It is safe to say that I have seen the documentary more than once.

Sam Champion
Sam Champion is a meteorologist who does the weather and is also a television personality on WABC NY. He is also an unsung Gay icon and proud member of the LGBTQ community and he is a really good weatherman. Also I had been meaning to do an article if not briefly do an article and put it in an article in the Pride section here on Vocal Media. He deserves to have this acknowledgement in the Pride Section because Sam Champion is a proud Gay man who does the weather and is a on air television presenter in the mornings on WABC 7 in New York.

Wilson Cruz made history…
Wilson Cruz is most known as playing the first gay student named Ricky Vazquez on a show for MTV than it picked up by ABC if I remember this correctly. Anyway the name of the show that he came to fame was the series called “My So Called Life” which had starred Claire Danes in the lead as an angsty teenage highschool girl named Angela and her trials and tribulations. Her other best friend was a grunge 90’s hippie chick named Ray Ann. Between Beverly Hills 90210 and My so Called Life I see My So Called Life as the more real and honest show between the two. I’m not saying that 90210 was not good I am simply saying that My So Called Life had more of a voice whereas 90210 focused on the popular kids My So Called Life gave a voice to the voiceless.

Karma by Boy George
in recent times Boy George had released another biography autobiography that is this one is about his most recent days in life and other events that him after the release of his first autobiography. That was the one called. Take it like a man. This autobiography that Boy George had the follow up you know just a kid just to catch people up on what he’s been up to in his and things of that nature and through every book he’s ever he’s always been and honest and just really good reads on both accounts that are books that he had released. I quite enjoyed the book myself both books that he really actually.

It is an honor that people can come out to me
I am glad that so many people feel coming out of the closet to me about their true sexuality. I think about the fact that people feel comfortable and safe to come out of the closet to me and if I can make a person comfortable it means a lot to me. I remember the first time a girl came out to me was in catholic highschool of all places. From that moment it was the first time I ever had that happen and it’s one of those things and to me I wonder if I came out of the closet would I have that.

Everybody is talking about Jamie A movie review
everybody’s talking about Jamie is a wonderful movie. It’s a boy who had his true sexuality and decides to dress and drag when he went to the prom. It’s a really great musical comedy as well. It also run on London’s West End, but I don’t know that much about if it had a run on Broadway myself.Jamie is a British school boy who dresses and drag and he wants to dress and dragged for the first time at prom. It’s a fun and lighthearted movie too and in the end, Jamie does succeed and gets to defy all the odds and dressing at prom.

Gender neutral bathrooms exist
progress has been made as far as the toileting issue where there is now a unisex bathroom available for all. Transgender people have the right to bathroom wherever they want to. Nobody has tell you what you can and cannot use your bathroom, regardless of your sexuality, your race or whatever. I must say that I support the unisex bathroom myself. I do use the unisex bathroom when I have a chance in order show solitary for the progress made. Using the bathroom really is also a human rights issue. It’s a issue of rights too. You cannot tell person where they can use the bathroom based on their base and ethnicity and anything else.
