My encounter with the Blue Man group
and a marshmallow

I should have titled this article me, a blue man, and a marshmallow, I did actually see the Blue Man Group perform at a out of the way theatre in Greenwich Village which is awesome.

I was sitting in one of the first rows in the theatre and one of the members of the group came out in the audience with marshmallows and I was one of the lucky audience members who got a marshmallow. Till this day I am kicking myself for eating it. It was an incredible performance and they are excellent percussionists. Among the covers that they performed was “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne.

Proceeds from the performance would go on to benefit AIDS research and LGBTQ causes. At one point in the show they filled the entire theatre with toilet paper and I am looking around the theatre watching as the place filled with toilet tissue. They did all of their signature moves along with the marshmallow they made plastic plumbing tubing into percussion and instruments and not only that they fill their instruments with paint and create incredible art, moving and living art. I used to have the Playbill from the performance too.
