Difference

I can be different than her and still love her .

By FlluttePublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

People say love has no gender and they are right but our society does !

This is my story ,story of love ,distance and difference.

I was 16 when i met my girl for the first time , she knew it from starting but i was a naive child .

We became friends, but she fell in love with me ,a pretty basic story ,but she is the one who taught me what it feels like when someone loves you and when they don’t want anything in return.

Her name was Amira , the one who admired everything about me , the one who has hidden her scars to heal mine! The one who told me that she loved me !

And me who put her away from myself .

Our story starts in the capital of India ,Delhi ,

Two girls one in love and the other unaware,

Amira wrote me letters of love and trust ,she made me realise that love has no boundaries

But i was not like her , i was different , I can never say she was different because she was the only most loving and normal human being i have ever met !

She healed my soul and nourished it , to only find herself alone in darkness again but she never complained!

Till today she ask me how am i ? What am i doing ?without expecting anything!

Isn’t this love ,i use to think how awkward it is for anyone to love same gender

But now i know ,they don’t love the body they love your soul!

And it changed my mindset for every human ,for love .

Now even from a distance i will be holding her hand and cherish her heart !

Sometimes i wish we don’t had any difference, why I can’t be like her?

but the distance god has carved between us made me realise I don’t have to !
