INFJ stands for Introversion, iNtuition, Feeling, and Judging. These four fundamental personality qualities are based on the research of psychologist C.G. Jung.

INFJs are one of the rarest personality types in the world. They make up only 1-3% of all people yet, they have a significant impact on both their surroundings and other people.

INFJs are often known for their deep empathy for others and their devotion to finding meaning in everything around them. But if you are not an INFJ yourself, how do you know what makes them tick? What is it like to be one? And how can you tell if someone is an INFJ or not?

What makes INFJs tick? These 10 secrets will help you learn more about this rare type:

1. INFJs care deeply about people and have intense emotions.

INFJs are very caring and sensitive people. They have strong emotions and can get upset when others aren't feeling the same way they do. INFJs are deeply in touch with their emotions, which makes them great at reading others' feelings.

INFJs care about other people, but they also care about themselves; they want to be content and feel good about themselves so they can make others feel the same way!

2. INFJs are driven by their values and seek meaning in everything.

You would have probably heard the saying “You can judge a person by the way they treat others." It’s true! And INFJs are no exception. If an INFJ feels misunderstood, they are likely to shut down or run away from the situation. Because of how distinctive their personality type is from most other people in their life, this can be frustrating for their friends because it implies that their friend may have done something wrong without even realizing it (or even those around them).

This isn't a bad thing! being able to see things from several different perspectives can help you figure out what's going on in any given situation and make better decisions about how best to handle things moving forward.

3. INFJs are not only dreamers but also action-takers.

INFJs are known for their creativity but they are also passionate about making a difference in the world. They have a strong sense of purpose and desire to make a difference in the world.

INFJs can see things from different perspectives, which leads them down many paths as they explore ideas that may not seem logical at first glance. While some INFJs may be more action-oriented than others (and vice versa), all INFJs share one common trait: they want to be based and change peoples' lives for the better!

4. INFJs are not as rare as you might think!

You may think that because INFJs are so rare and misunderstood, people will never understand or appreciate what makes them unique. But in reality, many do get it! The thing about being an INFJ is that they don't want others to know how much they love seeing things from others' perspectives; They want them to know that their perspectives matter too (and vice versa)

5. INFJs focus on the big picture and may lose track of the details.

INFJs are good at seeing the big picture, but they can also lose track of how their actions affect others. The INFJ has a strong sense of ethics and morals, so they need to remember that other people have feelings too. It's okay not to get everything done perfectly all at once—but don't let this lead you to become too disorganized or forgetful!

6. The most important part of any task is its deeper meaning, so they will want to know why they are doing something before they commit to it.

The INFJs are known for being extremely deep, intuitive, and sensitive people who care about others. When it comes to doing something, they want you to know why you are doing something before committing yourself.

They will not commit to the task you have given them if there is no compelling reason for them to accomplish it or if your intentions are unclear because their mind will be working to understand how this activity fits into the greater scheme of things in life.

7. Often considered to be "old souls," INFJs take a long time to come out of their shells, but when they do, they are pretty unique.

INFJs are complex and unique. They don't fit into a mold or stereotype, making INFJs feel like they aren't "normal" or even human. This is why some people may think that INFJs are rare or even mythical—but this couldn't be further from the truth! There are roughly 2% of all men and 4% of women have an INFJ personality type.

INFJ types often prefer to work alone rather than in groups; but, they can function quite well with others if it's necessary for their job performance or personal relationships (family members included). This can cause some problems when trying to get things done at work because many coworkers tend not to understand why someone would prefer working alone instead of being around other people all day long!

8. INFJs can be warm and affectionate once you get to know them.

INFJs are warm and affectionate once you get to know them. They may be quiet and reserved at first, but once they open up, they can be incredibly loving. The INFJ is a very caring person who will always put their friends' needs before their own. They enjoy being around people who they can share their ideas with or offer support when needed, as well as spending time alone to think deeply about something or figure out how best to help others through their own process of self-discovery.

9. Because they are so idealistic, INFJs typically do not like conflict and they may shut down or run away from a disagreement rather than address it.

INFJs are sensitive and idealistic people who have a strong sense of right and wrong. They often feel guilty when they see someone else being mistreated or treated unfairly. This can make them very passive-aggressive in their behavior, as they don’t want anyone to feel bad about themselves by association with them (which is why many INFJs will go out of their way to be helpful).

10. INFJs need a lot of time alone to consider and process what's going on around them.

INFJs are introverts by nature and need time to recharge their batteries. They can get overwhelmed by too much noise and chatter, so INFJs need to be alone to process what's going on around them.

INFJs are not shy people! They like being alone because it helps them process things more clearly. As rare as they are in this society, we can now understand them better as people and help them if we ever get a chance to meet them.

Do you belong to this rare personality or know someone with this trait? If so, how do you cope with this rare personal trait?

Hi! I am considered INFJ and agree with pretty much all of your points, however, I have worked very hard to confront conflict (without being aggressive) and to not be passive-aggressive - I've dealt with too much of that from the receiving end! Good job on making all these points and sharing this article!
