Medical Cannabis: Help or Hindrance
Throughout my life, I’ve had a strange relationship with cannabis. It was the first drug I had ever tried at age 13 (if you don’t count alcohol). The first few times I indulged, I didn’t get high. When I started getting high, I was having strange reactions. I cannot guarantee that the pot wasn’t laced with something else, but I’ve had experiences where I was vomiting profusely, my head was spinning and all I could do was lie down, and I even went completely blind for about 45 minutes after I took a few bong hits at a friend’s house when I was 15.

The one time the weed wasn't mine. I just turned eighteen and I was lucky enough to have a savings account my grandfather set up for me when I was born. I used that money to pay the deposit on a trailer my best friend was about to be evicted from. My boyfriend at the time, we’ll call him Bear, was moving in with us. I was getting used to my new place and my parents decided to help me move all of my things. I didn’t think anything of it at first until my mom started reporting back to me what she found in my room. Needless to say I was an experimental teen and we kept most of her findings between us, it’s for the best.

1. To do your best for others is to do your best for yourself. He who does not help others cannot be helped by others. 2. Afraid of crossing the road alone. Has been standing on the side of the road looking left and right, can not afford to lift the leg. Always feel a person crossing the road a bit of security is not safe, even if the traffic flow is very small, the speed is very slow. No matter how many people cross the road together, there is no one to lead the walk, the in the mind is full of happiness of security.
Burn one's Bridges to win
An old and experienced captain was returning from unloading his cargo on a vast ocean when a terrible storm struck. The sailors were in a panic. The old captain ordered them to open the hold and fill it with water. "Is the captain mad? Filling the hold of the ship with water will only increase the pressure on the ship and make it sink. Isn't that suicidal?" "Muttered a young sailor.
My weird complicated love-hate relationship with weed
I’m sure we’ve been there at some point when in high school in between classes passing in between crowds of students and you get a whiff of that smell. It wasn’t even that strong usually unless they had it on them. The smell was in their clothes. I’m not sure if I’m alone in this, but that dank sometimes faint smell of weed made my heart pound and my senses focused, I felt so needy of it. The only problem is that I decided to indulge myself.
Rambler's SocietyPublished 2 years ago in PotentMarijuana in Thailand
It is Officially Legal in Thailand In the early days of June 2022 there was a bit of a buzz (no pun intended) around the Land of Smiles. Restrictions were about to be reduced to a minimal from COVID-19, the pandemic was to be considered an endemic and marijuana was about to become legalized. For many of us who are from North America the legalization of marijuana is no big deal, but in Asia it is far from the norm. What was even better about the Thai Government making this decision is they did it in a way as to not suffocate or restrict the local population with regulations and rules like in the dictatorship of Canada where the rules are just nonsense to say the least. In Thailand the government made the move in order to enable the Thai population to have access to additional revenue both through creating new and innovative products and creating a whole new kind of tourism.

It seems obvious to state that as the number of people who are aware of a given secret grows the chances of its being revealed increases. There is a point at which the number of people that know a given secret is essentially guaranteed to result in its reveal. What that number is varies greatly based on the type of secret, and subset of persons that know it, but all secrets have such a number. The power of the particular secret will reduce that number as the temptation to reveal it becomes ever stronger the more powerful it is. This is human nature and it can only be fought against, but it cannot ever be defeated.
Everyday JunglistPublished 2 years ago in PotentSo you want to work with weed do ya?
As cannabis becomes legal more and more places around the world there seems to be a growing fascination with the industry. Having worked at a production warehouse for about a month now (So basically an expert.) I feel I have enough knowledge to give a 411 on what its like working on the production side of the curtain. Hopefully this article will answer some burning questions any curious minds have out there and if you're actually thinking about getting into the business give you a heads up about what to expect.
Have You Been to the Cannabis Dispensary?
It’s Friday afternoon. The sun is shining on this 3-degree winter day. I decided to go to the cannabis dispensary. Cannabis has been legal here for two years now. This was my second visit. Let me tell you all about it.
Bridget VaughnPublished 2 years ago in PotentDitch Weed to Dispensary
Cannabis has come from brick weed to brick and mortar. Medical marijuana is on a rise across the states and it’s followed shortly by recreational legality. States are benefitting from the legal pot and people are getting the help that they need without the use of pharmaceuticals. You can walk into a dispensary and get anything THC or CBD related, at any time, as long as they’re open. It’s magical.
