False Enforcement from Taxi-Cab Authority
Here is goes my public Rant against "Authority". So, in Las Vegas, Nevada- local Transportation Services or a Vehicle for Hire a.k.a Taxicabs are regulated by the name State of Nevada Taxi-Cab Authority. If any reader has given a read to my previous articles online, a story of corruption is written similarly. I discuss how Profiteering from Prostitution is more lucrative than actually earning a living. My complaints have gone statewide, and federal. I am not giving up.

Pot Lounges in Vegas
Above is the truce build on the 18th Amendment. The Era of Prohibition, the Roaring 20's; The Speak Easies; and the Good Ole Times. Yet, 100 years later a new trend is about to take form: Pot Lounges for Las Vegas. With Marijuana being legalized in Clark County: Nevada Las Vegas is openly showing its Vegas by debating the legal realm of ownership of a place called a Lounge. So, what does a "Lounge" mean? Is it a place like the Chicago Underground, where it don't come easy?

Runaways from then until Now
When entering the two words "Human Slavery" into Google, I received over 61 million results. In the photo for this article, I researched actual slavery and its history. This photo was from an archive held at the Houston Chronicle. While I am from the south, a state called Texas, the history of our foundation lies in the ugly truth of a past. Slavery was a reality that took the freedoms from African Americans, for a use of false commercial profits. A war was fought to ensure protections that slavery was unfair and unneeded.

Uber Vs. Taxi
Uber Vs. Taxi Part One Question One Taking a ride has never been more complicated. Anywhere people may travel there are two basic options: Rideshare or Taxi. In this short article I will lay-out some “need to know” information that covers those choices. Being a driver for both taxi companies and rideshare apps for over 15 years, I lay out the professional driver’s point of view. Also, first off, I was a customer long before I got behind the wheel. This is an open-minded piece which explores an unlooked at perspective on the transportation industry.

Was January 6th an Insurrection?
With the public media making controversy over the handling of the events that took place on January 6th, 2021, I seek to question what definition is appropriate to give. Let's give this a look. After the 45th President, Donald Trump losses the majority of the popular vote, a recount is issued. To affirm the winner of the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden, the congress holds a process to declare the vote total. During this time what seems to be a peaceful assembly is gathered outside of the White House on that day. Donald Trump's rally includes making a speech about having had lost his election, and gains no need for additional police protection.

Fighting against Discrimination
My story starts off with a brief look at an unknown industry: taxis or vehicle for hire. Lately names like Uber and Lyft pop up in the media only to explain that the old fashion metered services are suffering from a loss of customers. While there is a good reason that a new app based on cell phone services rocketed the taxis into lower demands. Uber reflects the need of newer vehicles and safer drivers who can be monitored by corporate fat cats. Unfortunately, its just another vice against fair and equal rights that hits those on either side of the industry who are not inside the norm.
