Jell-O shots: a college favorite across the country. Chock full of liquor and sugary goodness, you really cannot go wrong with a good Jell-O shot. There is one ingredient you may not have thought about adding to your traditional Jell-O shot recipe, though…

There may be nothing Jamaican about Jell-O, but their cannabis is well-known for having roots in the laid-back Caribbean country, especially among those that are fans of the Rastafarian way of life. That is how Jamaican Jell-O Shots got their name, because these Jell-O shots contain THC.

This simple recipe will teach you how to make your very own Jamaican Jell-O Shots from scratch. Just like all Jell-O shots, they are quite easy to make, and you should always consume responsibly. After all, they are prone to have you feeling good after not too long! If you eat too many at once you may overdo it, so let the shot settle in for an hour before grabbing another one.

Jamaican Jell-O Shots are a modern take on an old party classic. So get out the tiny plastic cups and get ready, because you’re about to have a great time.

Ingredients:

  • Cannabis-infused gin
  • 1 cup water
  • Jello mix/Gelatin
  • Ice cubes

Recipe:

Bring 1 cup of water to boil. In a bowl, combine gelatin and cannabis-infused gin. Once dissolved, add boiled water to the mix and stir. Add a few ice cubes to return mixture to room temperature. Pour into plastic shot glasses. Place in the refrigerator for 4 hours and serve cold.
