Always, that's what I told you

But broken is how I'm feeling now

Can't you see the damage you're doing

Didn't you know I'd come undone

Every time I've fallen I've been alone

Frustrated that it never works out for me

Gutted by the way you held me closely

Hurt by the way you pulled away from me

I never knew how badly this could feel

Just imagined it from the other side

Kinda wish I never took that dive

Lucky I had the chance to make you mine

Might have worked out differently for another

No use wondering what if you'd been my lover

Only serves to plunge me even farther

Put my armor on so I can't get pulled under

Quitting isn't my style even when I blunder

Right now I feel the way I knew I would

Stupid love never treats you like it should

The fact that we met is still good

Under all the pain with you I stood

Very disappointed with myself

Won't do this again, I lie to my heart

X-rays show new cracks formed on your part

You knew what you were doing when we pushed it way too far

Zealous lovers, star-crossed hearts
