New year, new you

Another season with

New foods to try.

🍽️

Li'l swimming fishes,

You're tastier than you know.

Get into my mouth.

🍽️

A rainbow of fish

So happily assembled

Look so delicious.

🍽️

So satisfying,

Veggies and fish rolled in rice.

And sake to drink!

🍽️

A bowl of ice cream

Waits patiently in the freezer

To sooth aching souls.

🍽️

What is this new thing?

Powder that comes in a tin:

Pumpkin chai latte.

🍽️

In my coffee now

Pumpkin pie spice and sugar

As the leaves turn red.

🍽️

Hot pumpkin latte

While curled up with a good book

Warms fingers and soul.

🍽️

Pumpkin, cranberry,

Baked into a delicious,

Moist and scrumptious scone.

🍽️

A warm cup of tea

That tastes like sugar cookies.

Tis the holidays!

🍽️

Family dinner

With turkey, stuffing, gravy

Is good for the soul.

🍽️

In the calm after

Raging storms and flash floods,

We find empty cupboards.
