Return of Mine

Sometimes it is though

My soul lies inside the shadow of yours

Amber eyes

Like the glistening sun on yellow autumn leaves

This is where I am at home

Within your laughter I can dance

Your aura my being

I hold your hand yet I am free

At home is your love for me.

If ever I am prey to the night

And begin to fade into the darkness,

I will look to your light

For it is the return of mine

And the children that run within

In the rivers and the stars

You are

The mirrors of my heart

Sometimes, when the devil conspires

Sadness prevails

And it is fire upon fire

Yet it is the depth of our waters

That lies the furies to rest

Like the ocean is a blanket

At once we are together again

Our home within

As spirits of the seas

Sink into shores

We become somewhat of the other

It is there we will be

At home with another

It is there we are

Together and free
