Your life needs only to make sense to you

Your life needs only to make sense to you. It's a personal journey, not a community project. If you were accustomed to getting your parents' approval for everything you did and they never taught you freedom and self-determination, you'll find yourself waiting for approval from authority figures in your life. When you imagine going ahead without a nod from whoever you're submitting yourself to at that time, you will feel intense stress and anxiety.

This is learned dependency and the fear of facing life by yourself. Since people have a conflict of interest, they will mislead and confuse you to keep you under their control.

The more you mature, the more you become comfortable with living a life people don't understand. And the more you are centered and in control of your life, the less permission and approval you need from other people.

One thing you should do when you turn thirty is to retire all authority figures in your life and become the authority figure yourself. You're socially and psychologically mature now, and you must not have external supervision or undue influence in your life. You will continue to learn and borrow wisdom from many sources, of course, but you will be making decisions yourself.

You will appreciate those who contributed to your growth in the past, but you will take full control of your life moving forward.

Some will hate your declaration of independence and evict you from their communities. You should take this merely as confirmation that their role in your life is over because they cannot accommodate a grown and self-reliant you. They needed you to stay weak and controllable. You don't need them anymore.
