Why get hurt, by the one closest to your heart
And still willing to give them a new start
why open yourself, to those who touch your soul
And then becoming so blind to their role
Why molding yourself into a person they want
And still, see them leave and taunt
Why forget all about your stars
And become so numb, when they count your scars
Why displease your pride to make them smile
And then watch them, moving on, leaving you fragile
Why telling them, always owe you?
And feeling so helpless, when they throw you
Why blame them for breaking your heart
But the wait wasn't that all your fault?

The problem with being a nice person
Who would have thought that being a nice person could be problematic. The majority of people would tell you that’s what they want to be or at least want those around them to be, but as it turns out, what we want and what we say we want are worlds apart. I won't stress or ramble on about how I would like things to be, but I’ll just analyze why this is, I am not sure either if a solution is even possible.
