Yearning for Peace Under the Stars
Your gentle eyes,
Their warm embrace,
When you look at me, my thoughts erase.
Your voice, inviting and kind,
A melody I can't leave behind,
It calms my soul and brings me peace.
Your words, so tender,
Offer me comfort,
Reassurance my mind seeks.
You are a gentle light in the dark,
Guiding my mind to safe shores,
Letting me live in serene peace.
Your touch is what I crave most,
Yet distance is our greatest foe,
I long for the day your skin meets mine.
The universe, in its mysterious ways,
Sends challenges to teach us best,
Hurdles testing mind, soul, and body.
I yearn for the day we embrace,
Awaiting the night we watch the sky,
At peace under the stars, together.

Happy Pride Month, all! I love Pride Month and everything that comes with it; the celebration, the festivities, the prestige. Pride Month is the ultimate beacon of positivity. Now sadly, there are a bunch of people in society who aren't really crazy about Pride Month and have their things to say against it. To those people, I'll only say this. There's a special place reserved for people who are against Pride Month. I'm too much of a gentleman to say it here, but I'll give a few hints: it rhymes with "bell," and I'm not talking about the city in Michigan.

Love expressed in deep and sweet words, where distance is the foe, longing for embracement. Great poem here.
