Your Fatal Kiss

A Love Poem

I can't find a word to capture my sorrow, a grief borrowed from the divine.

I long for a melody that would echo louder than a desperate plea of Paris of Troy.

Your kiss was fatal, a gift given on our parting day. Love still torments me, a tempest of unconquerable desires stirs within, while restless fantasies strip away the comfort of lies.

Tears are wasted beneath a sky aching with crimson pain. Solitary words cradle my fragile heart. I return, though the heavens still thirst for a sip of a gentle star.

A word unspoken between us, unwilling to face tomorrow, unready to endure the silence blanketing our hearts with solitude.

Before my final breath, I will bid a tender farewell to my adversaries.

One day, it will be beautiful, I swear to you, my killer, my love. Yet it's hard to untangle the memories that haunt my lingering shadow.
