The longing,

the desire, to have that comforting embrace.

It rules me, this longing.

When it is lacking, when I can no longer feel it, I am at it’s mercy.

To withhold this from me is be a burden.

To deny myself the pleasure of the embrace is agony.

So please, wrap your arms around me, in your loving embrace.

Giving to me the courage and strength, to face another day, though we are apart.

Though we are apart, a tenuous thread stretches between us, vibrating with our love of each other, giving me comfort.
