Young , dumb

First love — at so young

By KodahPublished 2 years ago • Updated 2 years ago • 1 min read

He was perfect.

He was the light to my fire, the brilliance that sparked my world, the rose that added beauty to my life. He illuminated my world.

Although, I was still too young to feel the way I did over this boy. There was no part of me that thought of the ramifications that came with loving someone this much— at so young.

I felt complicated—to the climax where I felt too abnormal to be loved by someone. It seemed like it was too much to ask for. I was asking too much~

Then when I found you... no, when you found me—it was like the world finally made sense.

I granted a wish, and an angel sent you down from heaven.

I manifested you, and my visualisation brought you into the reality of my perception.

Sometimes when I look back at the times he brought me comfort, awe, and love.

I was still too young.

At times, age drifts through the recesses of your mind like a forgotten breeze, leaving traces of its passage.

I may have been too young to feel the need for love even when I wanted so much to be loved.

I entered into a strange position where I was 'too ready' to commit the love I asked for~
