Take me away. I long for a time that was fun again.

My tiny active legs on the run again. Oh to be young again.

Life was so much simpler when I was just a kid.

Living off the grid and not facing responsibility for what I did.

Hanging with my best friends. Playing outside.

My mother was all for it. Kept me and my sisters staying outside.

Monday through Friday every morning was school.

Nickelodeon and Disney. Every weekend was cool.

Rat the mall see it all. Take a trip to the movies.

Peers company enjoyed. It breathes living into me.

My childhood wasn’t perfect, but I’d love to relive the fun again.

I miss those days as a kid. Oh to be young again.
