You Will Never Leave Me Alive
Your mine forever now

You Will Never Leave Me Alive
You will never leave me alive
He whispered through his teeth
His eyes were full of madness
His hands concealed beneath
She stood against the window
The moon upon her face
And knew his words were something
That time could not erase
He told her she belonged to him
In living and in death
And every time she answered
He stole another breath
The darkness filled the bedroom
The clock refused to chime
And every little second
Was borrowed from her time
She thought about the sunshine
The flowers in the spring
The little joys of living
And all that life could bring
He stood between the doorway
And everything she'd known
A man who called it loving
But wanted her alone
She watched his shadow moving
Across the bedroom floor
And wondered if the morning
Would find her there once more
You will never leave me alive
His words began again
But something in her silence
Was stronger than his pain
She moved towards the window
Where night embraced the sky
And knew she had to leave him
If she was to survive
The morning found the curtains
Still moving in the breeze
His threats remained behind her
She'd taken back her peace
