You were…

My forever foes

From long ago

My board game allies

But also, adversaries

My co-conspirators

In all things sneaky

My late-night

Secret keepers

And devil’s advocates

You are…

My caring confidantes

And constant cheerleaders

My reality checks

And unpaid therapists

My one-look,

Unspoken communicators

From across the room

My comfort zone

And infinite inspiration

You will forever be…

My Sisters First

And Friends Always.
