you were the one for me, but I’m not the one for you

I wrote this poem casually for my friend just for fun. I hope you will like it.

"You were the one for me, but I'm not the one for you"

I still remember the day we met, I was a nobody who tries to survive this race people call life, trying to at least survive in this dangerous chaotic world and the struggles it brings to people.

Until I met you.

You, who brought sunlight to this black and white world of mine that is filled with nothing but chaos and survival. You were the sunshine that gives me that sense of hope and the determination to strive harder, also the belief that I can be a better version of myself.

You were “it” for me but I am not “it” for you.
