i sit for hours underneath your window

me and the moon, just hanging around

i found a sense of peace, out here, in limbo

i caught a beat, but never made a sound

i sit and imagine you and me, together

singing songs of love, under the spell of the silver moon

chasing down that hidden treasure

riding the waves, just little off tune

**

and babe, ya know, you've got me swaying

like the branches on a weeping willow tree

yeah now, you've got me saying

that i'll always want you next to me

a soft melody just keeps on playing

pulling you and me along, above the trees

like shooting stars, our love's displaying

salted with a taste of summer breeze

*

and it's always coming back to me

out of nowhere, anytime i think of you

you've got it making its way back to me

shades of your passion hit me baby, right out of the blue
