You've created a safe haven
The Verdant Sanctum of Our Fused Souls
Upon this orb of emerald transcendence,
Where zephyrs of silk do caress with devotion
The flowing tresses of elm and oak in a lover's dance,
I discover the joy of our secret devotion.
A asylum of solace from existence's sorrowful trance,
You have carved here a paradise bursting with light,
Where nature's harmonies echo eternally in a timeless expanse
And still the gales that rupture the calm of the night.
In the lunar glow, daffodils spin in a swirling delight,
Their golden crowns all aflutter on the breeze's sweet song,
As starlight and moonbeams commingle to mirror their plight,
Echoing love's radiant glow the dark seas along.
You have sculpted a haven where my soul can eternally cleave
To yours, as in your embrace I find wholeness once more.
Within these tender arms, all my doubts and fears take leave,
As your soft whispers of love still my soul's anguished roar.
For in this sanctuary, safe from the world's dread despair,
We have found a devotion as rare as the dawn's first light,
A love that unfurls in enchanted realms of scented air
And paints our journey in brightest day and velvet night.
So, my love, in your warm, sheltering arms I shall stay,
Laying my weary heart in your embrace to find rest anew,
And within this verdant sanctum we have carved for aye,
I shall discover eternal solace, my heart, my soul, in you.
