You’re Not Alone

Original Lyrics

They tell me breathe, just breathe

Look at the life around you

Are you happy or sad

Does being alone make you mad

Yeah, I ask myself a lot of those questions too

And let me tell you, I’m just about through

But I need to not mind if they throw me the other way

Some people just need to learn what to say

People might yell & accuse to attack you

But they don’t know how serious is your own issue

You may feel depressed, may be over it

But sometimes you just need to take a step back & relax

Why does my pain reflect on my pride

Look inside, you can see that I’ve died

A tongue has no bones, but still strong enough

To break someone’s heart, make em say “I’ve had enough”

Make someone who sits on the back of the class

Eyes glaze over like a piece of newly cut glass

Some carry on like soldiers with battle wounds

Bleeding out from every cut their body ever consumed

Some sit thinking “why do I have to pay the price”

To trying to sleep while they allow themselves to cry

I want you to know that you’re not alone

Right now, I could be under a tombstone

You may feel depressed, may be over it

But sometimes you just need to take a step back & relax
